Hands down the best sores of knowledge, training, and all around great people. Master Dan Berry with Leon Baker and Dennis Chambers and all the other Incredible talents that have given decades of their life to bring only the best to the mat. And the best out of everyone that wants to learn. Thank you..
Dan and George are excellent instructors. They can relate to your current experience level and help point out where you are in your technique and development to help you improve. They are very patient and knowledgeable in establishing your training foundation. They are also very good in working with many different types of students and are careful in pairing training partners. They are also very conscientious of safety in teaching the techniques.
When it comes to over all knowledge of martial arts Dan Berry is possibly the most educated instructor i have workde with. I have been involved in martial arts for over 20 years myself .Weapons , jiu jitsu , striking even the internal arts such as tai chi Dan is like a buffet Knowledge and technique .When he talks i listen and you should too !
The owner and trainers here are all amazing people and know what they are doing. I would highly recommend taking a class or two from here.
Very knowledgeable instructors. Nice people, nice atmosphere!
Great instructors!
The instructors here are to notch. Dan Berry is an awesome teacher. What he teaches is street level legit. I am interested in BJJ for real life self defense and feel like I receive the best instruction offered here. I'm also looking forward to training in the other arts here. I feel there is not a more complete training facility in the state. Give them a try you won't regret it.
The best martial arts school in the state. They cover it all self defense, stick, knife, guns, hand to hand, jiu jujitsu. Dan Berry is a phenomenal instructor, you will not find anyone better!
54th Street gym has a group of instructors who are very dedicated to their students. They are patient and willing to take the time to ensure each student is getting what he/she needs. The fees are very reasonable and it is well worth your time to travel from anywhere in the valley. I highly recommend 54th Street Gym and am grateful to the owner, Dan Berry, for the opportunities he provides to adults and children.
Dan Berry is an amazing instructor, mentor and martial artist! I highly recommend Dan and integrated martial arts to anyone in search of great people with great skills and positive energy!
I have been attending Integrated Martial Arts Jiu Jitsu and Bihonte classes for over 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience and I am completely hooked. I had never done Martial Arts before, so I wanted to find a place that was fun, took it serious, was good to beginners, and was taught by experienced instructors. That is Integrated Martial Arts to a tee. Dan is INCREDIBLY experienced, as are the other instructors. The variety of styles they teach are extraordinary. I bring my young boys from time to time and they watch the kids classes. They are not old enough to attend yet, but consistently ask when they can start! They just see the kids having a blast. Dan and the other instructors are very good with the kids and adults alike. Whether you are new to the sport, or experienced, this is the place for you. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I have trained with Master Dan Berry for years and he is very articulate in his teaching methods. You will get skilled in effected techniques to defend yourself and or if you want to train in mma (Jeet Kune Do, kick boxing and Brazilian jiu jitsu). Also the weapons training in Shih Kea Fma Philipono arts is phenomenal. I would recomend anyone who would want to learn effected techniques in martial arts to this studio!
After 2 years of working with Dan berry and all the other instructors. I am still amazed at all the knowledge that I get from this class with Dan and multiple black belts instructing, and more than one art form. Excellent class excellent instructors.
Great teachers for all levels of learning and physical abilities
My son and daughter have studied under Dan Berry for 3 1/2 years and I have for 2 1/2 years. The skill level of the instructors is excellent, with each holding multiple black belts in several martial arts. Not only are they each very qualified fighters, but they are able to patiently communicate to students of all levels. The kids class focuses on self defense with an emphasis on Dan's 'anti-bullying' program. The adult class works your cardio pretty hard while teaching street self defense techniques. It's the best workout I've found.
