My daughter comes all the way from Stockton to practice and roll with professor Gustavo Ramirez and his students. He is very knowledgeable and an overall amazing sensei. He connects with the students and the respect is reciprocated. These mentors are hard to come by, which is why we are willing to drive an hour an a half during weekdays AND weekends to have him teach our daughter who will be competing at the Golden State Jujitsu Tournament on 8/26/23. Having Prof. Gustavo teach and guide our daughter is worth the drive and we are honored to have him pass along the traditions and skills for her to succeed!

My family has been with Infinite for more than 2 years now. I stopped in at a couple other BJJ schools in the area at first and I won’t say anything bad about them. However, the details of instruction and the friendliness of everyone at Infinite, from the owner to beginners, is unmatched. Gustavo (owner/instructor) continues to compete and master his own craft while stressing the importance of technique over brute force to students. I appreciate this approach as an older practitioner, especially after training overseas at an MMA gym which had the opposite mentality. Gustavo is also supportive of kids and adults who want to compete and does his best to be mat-side with them at tournaments. Regarding the kids classes, I also appreciate the few minutes he spends a with them at the beginning of class talking about their day and trying to connect BJJ lessons to proper behavior off the mat.
Go to practice here three times a week. Love this place. Great people, and jiu-jitsu is fun and helpful in real fights.
Came in looking for a place to train and was immediately impressed with the coaching staff and clean gym. The students were also very welcoming and helpful when rolling. Super impressed with them as a gym as a whole.

TLDR: This is a good gym, please train here if you’re in the area. As an out of towner (Travel for work) I got to come up and meet Professor Gustavo at his 11am to 12:30pm NoGi Class. On the phone, in person, Gustavo made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I hope to see y’all again sometime soon!
The guys at Infinte were great. I went home for Christmas to visit family, but didn't want to miss a week of training. They welcomed me in like family and I learned a lot for the brief time I was there. I only wish I'd found them years ago when I still lived out there.
Great gym. Only got to spend a few months training with the group, but after just a couple months everyone becomes family. Great atmosphere with so much jiu jitsu knowledge.
Warm group of students and it made sense given the owner, Gustavo's, disposition. It was easy to enter into a dialogue on technical nuances with Gustavo, whether before the class or privately. Clean and expansive environment. Great for varied use and training modalities. I've trained jiujitsu since 2003 and earned my black belt in 2016. Certainly recommend trying your hand within these walls.
I enrolled my 8 year son a few months ago. Hr absolutely loves it and the instructor is amazing with the kids. He teaches them a lot and explains very thoroughly. He teaches respect and I can see a difference in my sons attitude. He is always very excited to go to class. We love this place.

Professor Gustavo is amazing and the entire Infinite family makes you feel like your home away from home. So much knowledge all around and everyone is willing to help whether you’re brand new with zero experience or have been grappling for years. Infinite is a wonderful atmosphere to train Jiu-Jitsu at. I stay in the area intermittently and I always train here when I'm in town. The team is very welcoming and many people made an attempt to get to know me when I first started coming. The instruction is excellent, Gustavo is a seasoned black belt and has a very technical and engaging way of teaching. There are many upper belts at this gym to roll and learn from. The crowd is a mix of hobbyist and competition players which makes it a good environment for whatever you are looking for. Had a great time and tough rolls over at Infinite.
This was such an amazing experience! The coach taught so well that my sister who wasnt doing it learned the moves just by watching him teach! Super kind and welcomed us as if we were already part of the family!
I live in Meadow vista, CA, 30 mins away from infinite BJJ. The main reason is that they offer 3 classes a day that I can join any classes. Most of all, people here are very friendly, and not bully, willing to help and enjoy the game together. I love it!!! Instructors are very knowledgeable and patient. Don't hesitate to come to try.

I've been doing Jiu Jitsu for 15 years, I know the gyms that work and the ones that don't; this place is definitely the former. Infinite JJ is very well maintained and cleaned, which is a must for any successful gym, along with plenty of parking right next to the building. The Zebra mats they have are the best quality material you can roll on, along with two large bathrooms and a changing areas which are great for anyone on the go that need to get ready fast! As for the instruction, it doesn't get much better. Gustavo is very detail oriented and will make you feel at home the second you walk in. During instruction he takes time to make sure everyone knows the move, and if you missed something he is glad to go over it as many times as it takes until you understand it, and if you're still not getting the move, one of 20 other people will be more than willing to help out. Everyone I had a the privilege of grappling with were extremely nice and humble, not one person had an attitude nor anything negative to say. Would recommend anyone give the class at least one try, you will not regret it, regardless of age, size, etc...
Fantastic place for beginners or long time practitioners of the art. The vibe here is the opposite of almost every “UFC Bro club” I’ve ever been to. The people here are all trying to help and the instruction is top notch. Infinite is highly recommended.
You won't find anywhere that will make you feel more at home. Here is where you learn how to lose. Where you learn to better yourself. Whether if you're looking for exercise, competition, or friends, here is one of the best places to do so. I've been here for 2+ years, and the people I've met have been my friends and my teachers. I learned how to be humble and how to improve myself. My self confidence had been shot up ever since I joined infinite jiu-jitsu. And that's all thanks to Professor Gustavo and everyone else there.
I first started training Jiu Jitsu because of a recommendation from a friend. I was apprehensive of what the martial art would be like and was rather shy since I knew no one at the gym. However, my apprehension was unwarranted as I was welcomed with open arms. Not only was Professor Gustavo more than accommodating to me as a new student, my now teammates were willing to help me cultivate my skills as a martial artist. Under the tutelage of Professor Gustavo and the members of Infinite Jiu Jitsu, students can expect to gain confidence in defending themselves, the ability to compete in a high-level environment, and join a welcoming jiu jitsu family. I am new to jiu jitsu and have trained at one other gym in the Seattle area. I have come back to the area and was doing research on local gyms, visited a couple and then came across Infinite Jiu Jitsu. Honestly, just awesome! Professor Gustavo is an amazing instructor, goes over the moves he is teaching several times, from slow to live pace. There are morning, afternoon and evening classes to fit your every need or multiple times a day. They offer an awesome trial membership and professor Gustavo is willing to work with you on pricing. He is passionate about what he does and wants to get people into the sport. Today they are having their first black belt being promoted from the class!! (04-14-2018) Congrats guys!! There are many ranges in belts in the classes and everyone is very helpful and friendly. They are there to help you get better not just to submit you and brag about being better than you. No need for any kid of ego here because it will be checked. Gustavo invests in his classes and students and can tell when something is up. If you are new and don’t have a Gi there are several loaners for you to use and there are also no Gi classes. Overall great place, great experience, humbling experience, great people!! Very informative and will take you to the next level of whatever you are trying for! I can’t wait to get back from work in Alaska and get back after it! From the beginning my son has struggled with speech and developmental delays. He’s been in speech therapy since he was 3 and has always been extremely far behind when it comes to school. Being a single mother who suffers from depression and other issues my son has also been very sensitive, feeling easily hurt. In May/June of 2017 at the age of 11, he was diagnosed with 2 autoimmune diseases. I found myself trying to figure out how he can get some sort of exercise since he can’t go outside in the sun anymore. After some brain storming with my boyfriend I came across Infinite Jiu-Jitsu about 3 months ago. Last week I had an annual IEP meeting with my sons teachers and speech therapist and they boosted about the progress my son has made over the past few months. He’s more focused, more confident, and not so emotionally sensitive anymore. He’s even willing to stick up for other kids who are being bullied on the school bus where in the past he would have been the shy ostrich in the back of the bus with his head in his book trying to ignore what was going on. Professor Gustavo and all the other wonderful instructors at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu has been an awesome help for my son both personally and academically. Thank you to everyone at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu. Your teachings have greatly helped my son in more ways than you can imagine.
I have been training a long time and I have been to lots of gyms. I highly recommend Infinite Jiu-Jitsu. It's a great place to train for hobbyists and serious competitors alike. If you’re looking for casual jiu jitsu or more of a competitive pace Infinite is the place for you. Extremely friendly yet disciplined and is military friendly. I started here a few years ago and I make it a point to stop by and train whenever I am in town.
I recently traveled to California to spend the holidays with family. I stopped in at infinite jiu-jitsu looking to see if I could jump in on a class. The guys there were very inviting and eager to have me come in. I found it to be an excellent training facility with great jiu-jitsu skill. I also found there to be no egos and a very good comradery feeling among the team. I am looking forward to stopping in and training again next time I'm down visiting. I would absolutely recommend this school for others.

Excellent instructors. The owner, Gustavo is highly respected, and will treat you and every students with respect. He is ranked #1 in IBJJF in his belt/degree. Please leave your ego at the door as everyone in here will treat you like family. Best place to train BJJ in the NorCal area and possibly in the world! Sad to leave this BJJ family but I'm confident that I have a home to train if I'm back in the area.
I dropped in for a class and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We drilled several De La Riva sweeps, which I hadn't seen before. By the end of the technique session I felt comfortable with the movements. The people training here are high level. It was a humbling but great experience. Whether you're a hobbyist or looking to compete, this gym will be great for you. Highly recommended!
It is amazing how much my 8yo son improved his skills in other sports after I enroll him to this BJJ school. Being so nice and shy, my child was always a target of other kids. Not anymore. Great improvement for only 4 months of class. I never wrote a review before, but this time a had to. I highly recommend Infinity Jiu jitsu School. John
My 5 year old son has been attending classes for about a year. Today, a kid at school started a fight with him and my son was able to get the kid off of him and defend himself. He said later that he felt confident and wasn't afraid to defend himself. I am so grateful that because of everything he has learned so far at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu things weren't any worse than they were. Self defense is so important and I can't say enough good things about our experience with Infinite Jiu-Jitsu.

Tonight was my first night at at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu. I had done my research, which led me visit earlier today to check it out. I arrived at the end of a children's class, which allowed me to view Professor Gustavo at work. More importantly gave me the opportunity to watch him teach, and ultimately hear him speak, which was nothing short of inspiring. This gentleman then took the time to sit with me for 30+ minutes and discuss the philosophy of the program, and my personal goals. He was so honest and engaging, "you get out of it, what you put into it, and it is family". I took the plunge, and committed right then and there. I am 53 years old, and a former (very) competitive athlete, had some TKD background, but know nothing about Jiu-Jitsu, just knew that i still need to fuel the competitive fire. Not normally intimidated, I must admit i was nervous, and a bit hesitant about showing up tonight. All I can say, and here is the crux of the review: I cannot express enough how welcome everybody there made me feel. It was clear to me immediately that not only was i there with with people with varying experience, but also surrounded by some truly World Class Athletes, all were not only amazing to watch, but were also so willing to offer encouragement like I had been there for years. Needless to say, I am going to be walking a little funny tomorrow, but I loved every minute of it, and will be spending a lot of time there, and learning from the best, for what I hope will be years to come...Most of all, the concept of "family" was glaringly obvious....5 star rating above, but I am adding a sixth. Found myself a home, and encourage anybody remotely interested in enhancing their body, mind and soul, to seriously consider taking the time to visit....And I thank everybody there tonight, I'll see you tomorrow (if I am successful at the whole walking thing...I got a lot work and learning to do). Professor Gustavo, is a truly great professor!!! there's it's no wounder why he is a 4 time world champion at Jiu-Jitsu. He and the other teachers really take there time to better you. I have never felt unwelcome or put in the a situation where i felt stupid or embarrassed when first starting out. I have been going off and on now for the past year or so, and have rolled around at other schools and found that infinite Jiu-Jitsu is the best school to learn Jiu-Jitsu. And i think it's important to add Gustavo will show you show you moves that most schools are not teaching and will definitely up your game.
I have a great time every time I'm there. The instructors and my peers are dedicated, respectful and very skilled. Everyone seems very driven to improve themselves and many students are excited about competing. The training is as intense as you make it - if you want to lose weight or get strong, you will. It's a safe place, and the people here are like family. This is by far the best place I've trained at.
Got better in 4 weeks than I did in 6 months. Gustavo is the man.
World Class people. Extremely nice and welcoming family friendly environment. The Main instructor is a great person and excellent with kids. The kids program is fun and efficient. The kids love it. The Adult program is a great environment to grow. A large number of brown and black belts are always available to train with to make sure everyone grows. The facility mats are cleaned multiple times a day which was great to know and see. Train with the people at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu!
I've been a student at Infinite for nearly 4 years. I've remained because of the expert, easy to understand and implement instruction by Professor Gustavo Enriquez. Infinite offers a friendly and safe school to train hard and learn the infinite art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The kid's program has been great for my son and the adult program has all level of grapplers from frequent tournament competitors to the recreational grappler who chooses jiu jitsu as the modality to stay in shape.
I started training at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu back in January because after going to the gym for years, I needed a change. And as silly as it sounds, I wanted a hobby. I ended up falling in love with it. Even though I was sore all the time, ether sore muscles or my body reminding me that I'm not 22 anymore, I still cant wait to get back out there. It took me awhile to figure out why. After spending 40 hour a week at work getting cluttered up with other peoples mental garbage, going to training with the great people at Infinite is like hitting a reset button. The worst day on the mat is better than my best day at work. Not to mention after a short time with them I'm in better shape now than I was at 22. My son, who is 10, has also started training and has gotten a huge amount of confidence, and has actually started competing in tournaments. Way more bravery than me at that age. The kids class has a lot of emphasis on bullies, while keeping it fun.
I've been training with these guys as my second home mostly during the holidays when I'm away from my regular academy. I continue to be impressed with Professor Gustavo and the killers he's raising up over here. Great guys, great environment, great technique. Can't recommend it enough. If you're anywhere near the area make this place your home academy, you won't regret it.
Why I love to train at Infinite Jiu Jitsu. 1. Great workout—burn fat, build muscle, and increase flexibility. I started JJ about 4 months ago, I have lost 10 pounds (and counting) and can lift much more weight at the gym. It is also so much fun (wayyyyyyy better than running in place on the treadmill). The warm ups are fun too—I mean, where else do I get to do backwards somersaults? 2. Best stress reliever ever! Who knew being arm barred and squeezed by a triangle could make you feel so good I leave every class COMPLETELY relaxed. It is amazing—better than a massage. 3. Awesome atmosphere! Everyone I have met at Infinite Jiu Jitsu has been super encouraging. I am a complete klutz by nature and am pretty sure I am slower learner than most. No one has ever made me feel embarrassed or I like I don’t belong. All of the upper belts are terrific about giving their time teaching us white belts. 4. The professor Mr. Gustavo, is the real deal--he is a three-time world champion. He is very passionate about the sport and is an excellent teacher. 5. Self-Defense. I think ALL women should train in this sport. I feel much more confident that if I was attacked, I would not freeze or curl up in a helpless ball. I highly doubt I could win a fight (at this point in time) with a large male attacker, but I do believe I could survive. 6. Improved Coping Skills and Ability to Handle Stress. While I have definitely improved my physical fitness over the past four months, I also believe that my mental fitness has improved as well. I am very perfectionistic by nature. BJJ has forced me out of my comfort zone. I have gotten very comfortable with being uncomfortable. I have learned that I can be absolutely terrible at something and if I continue to try and work at it, I can improve. It is refreshing to laugh at myself and learn from my mistakes.
Infinite Jiu-Jitsu is really awesome! I'd never done any martial arts or wrestling training and they welcomed me with open arms. Professor Gustavo is a 3-time world champ and really takes the time to critique individually. The other higher belts are also very helpful in teaching me the techniques. The mats are clean and there's a really fun family like atmosphere. Overall, it's really fun, challenging, and a great workout. I'd definitely recommend coming down and checking out a class or two at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu.

I have been learning Jiu Jitsu from Gustavo "Ninja" Enriquez at Infinite Jiu-Jitsu & MMA since January, and I am hooked. Gustavo has created an excellent learning environment with an intense level of camaraderie. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO COME TRY THIS SCHOOL. I wanted to start my training for a long time before stepping foot into a dojo, because I feared the high potential for meat head jerks that this sport could entice. There are no meat heads at this school and everyone is helpful and polite. This is a trickle down effect from the leadership at the top all the way down to the newest pupil at the bottom. Gustavo and the rest of the students at this school make it an over the top experience! I am proud to be a member of Infinite Jiu Jitsu.
Infinite Jiu-Jitsu is an awesome school. My 6 year old has been training here for 5 months we like the classes because they are controlled, the kids are not allowed to play around and quickly learn to respect the coaches and other students. They work hard and also have a lot of fun. Gustavo the owner/instructor is a world champion and excellent coach. After watching my son roll for a few months I jumped in myself. The adults classes are also great! I have trained kickboxing for years with a little ground work at various schools, thus far Infinite is the best place I have found to train Jiu-jitsu. the team members are very helpful, not intimidating and no meatheads.. Over all a Great place to train.
For my first time attending a formal jiu-jitsu school, I couldnt have been more pleased. Gustavo & all his students were friendly and welcoming. I found the facility to be in excellent condition. The mats used were top of the line, the floors were lined with Zebra Mats that were in excellent condition. Between the detailed instruction and warm atmosphere, I would recommend Infinite Jiu-Jitsu & MMA to anyone looking to participate in martial arts.
The problem is no promotion or recognition of progress. My 8 year old son came here for nearly a whole year, competed in 3 tournaments where he won two silver medals, one gold medal, and one bronze medal, and during that entire time Professor Gastavo never gave him even one stripe! All Gustavo ever did, when he was there, was criticize and yell. I don’t recommend this dojo. I think what really made me leave was the empty chair I kept seeing…. The chair where the coach is supposed to sit to support their student in tournaments. My son had to fight with no coach to support him in most of his tournaments. I should have left sooner.
This review is based on a 5 minute interaction with this business. I called to ask about my 7 year old son trying out the studio. He had taken Tai KwonDo before starting soccer in the fall and he loved it but everyone had suggested Jiu-Jitsu because of how physical it was (more running around and exercise). When I called, they suggested I show up at 4 pm any day M-F so he could start a one week free trial and try out the class and see how he liked it. The website said that they make everyone feel welcome and they have excellent google reviews. I told my son and he was THRILLED. He had a few friends in the class and couldn't wait to go. I was a few minutes late coming home from work and then had trouble finding the business. We were TEN minutes late to the class (yikes!). I really considered not coming in but my son was SO excited and I knew we were busy the next few days and wouldn't be able to return for a few days. Upon entering the business we were asked if he'd like to participate in the class or just watch. My son said he thought he'd like to participate but was a little hesitant (there were a lot of kids already taking class and we were late, all attention was on us). The man in charge asked him to take off his shoes "right here" pointing to a spot on the mat. My son started taking off his shoes to place them right where he was pointing. He kept repeating himself "no right here'" "right here". He wanted him to SIT right at that spot and take off his shoes there so he didn't get the mat dirty. My son was listening but not understanding and not following his directions with exactness. This man didn't introduce himself, but I think his name is Ron and is the leader of the business. Within 2-3 mins of meeting/seeing my son told us he was not ready for Jiu-Jitsu and that he was "doing us a favor" and told us he could not participate. He told my son that his "little attitude" was the reason that he could not. We couldn't get his shoes back on fast enough to run out of there. My son was in tears in the car. I understand that it might not be for everyone, however this experience was extremely negative for us. If he had noticed incompatible behavior he could have asked us to sit out and watch and spoken with us privately after. Maybe tried to get to know us a little better. My son does lack self discipline and maybe he could have suggested private lessons or classes at a different martial arts center. Meeting with brand new families for a few mins before having them try a class might be a better way for them as a business to screen new students and help them understand what is required. I am needing help and support for my child who is having trouble adjusting to his new school and making friends. This was my solution to help him feel better and more confident.
