My Grandchildren have been attending Impact Martial Arts for eight years now. Our 14 yr. Old earned his Black Belt in August. Our Granddaughter is a Brown Tip. Impact’s team of instructors provides them technique, constantly work on their confidence, and most of all truly care about potential successes not only in the studio, but in everyday life. I highly recommend this studio for ANYONE. I can’t thank them enough for everything they do to assist in teaching life lessons.
Posted 9 months agoMr. Baroni has been amazing along with all the other coaches for the 3 years my son has been here. They have been so great, I decided to start taking classes myself. This is not just a Martial Arts Academy, rather a family.
Posted 1 year agoMy 8 year old son wanted to try some form of karate not knowing what to expect. He began in a younger school age class with a mix of boys and girls. He has been taught to be respectful and disciplined while simultaneously learning and having a great time. He has advanced up belt levels which has given him a feeling of accomplishment. At this time, my son has been able to move up to the next age/class level. We have noticed being with some older kids has been a good thing for our now 9 year old. Master Baroni and the other instructors are fantastic with all the students. They make the students feel comfortable and really work with them to learn and progress. It’s a fun and energetic atmosphere for kids and adults, male and female. We highly recommend Impact Martial Arts!
Posted 1 year agoMy son has been a karate student for almost a year and it has been a great experience. The instructors are all amazing, finding a way to balance discipline, constructive criticism, and praise. The students are given clear expectations. They are praised when they achieve them and are coached/encouraged if they fall short, so they can succeed the next time. It's great to see kids learning self-discipline and manners while having fun!
Posted 3 years agoAfter having our son try sports for a while and him telling us "sports just aren't my thing" my wife and I looked around to try him help find what his thing might be. We came across Impact Martial Arts and figured we should give it a try. After the first trial night we all knew we found his thing! It took about 2 weeks of watching him in his class for my wife and I to half jokingly say to each other, "Hey, this looks like fun, maybe it could be our thing too?" lol. Well we joined and I can tell you it definitely is! As an adult I know it can seem a bit intimidating and embarrassing to start something new like karate in front of complete strangers but if you are at all interested in trying something new and challenging you should really give them a try. All of the owners and instructors are extremely happy and ready to help you at all times! From our sons class (9 years old), to our class (how dare you ask our age), it is a great overall learning experience with amazing and talented group of people!
My kiddos have taken 7 classes with Impact Martial Arts so far, and saying that I am beyond impressed would be an understatement. I am not too familiar with karate, other than the fact that I have seen the Karate Kid more than a handful of times. My kids have been asking to join for a few years now, and I just assumed I would sign them up initially for self defense, but this class offers so much more than that!! I originally picked Impact based on the closeness to our home, and also the Google ratings. All these guys, let me tell you, are top notch! I have no idea what other karate classes offer, but this is way more than a karate class. The discipline, respect, and manners they teach along with the class is outstanding! (Yes, Sir, yes Ma'am, ladies first, eye contact, paying attention, respecting authority, the list goes on and on) Not only do they instill in the kids values, but their way of teaching it to them is super impressive. They don't just demand respect from the kids, or correct them on what they are doing wrong; they communicate with the kids about why they do the things they do and explain things on their level. Every single instructor there is super patient when teaching the kids, and also give the kids respect in return. Every time I am there I am impressed with the way they interact with the kiddos. My kids came in shy, and still haven't broken out of their shell, but they are patient with them correcting them when necessary. I also love the fact that they appoint leaders in the higher ranks, even if they are young, they teach them early about leadership. I cannot say enough good about this place! You are truly getting your moneys worth with Impact. The schedule is flexible, the classes are reasonable, and you are getting so much extra for your money here!! The first class is free, come and see for yourself how amazing they are!! We are so blessed to have found them! Best of the Best right here! Thanks guys for pouring into our children! ~Melissa Davis
Posted 5 years agoOur three year old son recently starting taking classes at Impact Martial Arts and he loves it there. The staff members are attentive, patient, knowledgeable and kind. We look forward to watching our son grow and learn as a student there.
Impact Martial Arts is the best karate studio around. My girls look forward to going every week. The sensei's are caring and help all children in this family-centered dojo.
My son has been with them for about 13 months know and absolutely loves it. The sensai’s are great with all the students and take their time to make sure all the students are learning karate correctly.
Our kids have been going to Impact for 1 1/2 years. We have been very happy both before and during the pandemic. The senseis are all great and we've been happy with the physical and disciplinary progress they have made.
I was apart of the old dojo, and I feel like It would be wrong to say that these people are anything below amazing. You or your kids will enjoy your time among these people. -Omar
Amazing instructors running a great program. They're adopting to the pandemic with multiple layers of sanitary practices being implemented as well for everyone's safety. Kudos to this great school!
Kind and gentle people who love kids can’t find a better group of caring people continued success to all the staff
My son started going to Impact Martial Arts on October 3rd. He LOVES it. He’s a very shy kid and it takes him a while to warm up to people but Sensei Chris and Sensei Corey make him feel so comfortable that he’s slowly but surely started to talk to them! He gets so excited when he’s told it’s karate day. He’s in the tiny tigers (3-4yr olds) so he gets to go up to 4 times a week and when he advances to the next class they have even more days available. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They offer a 2 week free trial so if you’re even thinking about this place, definitely try it out - you’ll love it!
Words aren't enough these instructors go above and beyond for the children they teach extremely understandings and patient. It's also great having conversations with its very family-friendly.
Not only has Impact helped my kids be more confident, it has become an extended family. The staff is amazing and truly focused on giving back to the community.
Impact Martial Arts is truly a family-based martial arts school. The instructors have a combined 60+ years of martial arts experience and martial arts instruction experience. With a facility that has two training spaces and a variety of classes for both children and adults, Impact Martial Arts offers training for the whole family!
My 4 year old son loves going to class!
