Really enjoy training at Icon Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the art. The gym has a welcoming atmosphere for all levels — from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Clean facility, great training partners, and a strong sense of community. Easily a 5-star experience only regret is not joining sooner.

I have been training BJJ at Icon for nearly 2 years now and have loved every minute. Dave and the other coaches are amazing and really take the time to help every member improve their Jiu Jitsu. I have made some great friends here, as well as improving my fitness and self confidence. I wish I started sooner.

Joined Icon about 10 months ago after deciding to get back into martial arts. Highly recommend Icon, the instructors are very knowledgeable and always on hand to help when needed and great at breaking down and demonstrating techniques. Very friendly atmosphere and have met some great people. The timetable has a good variety of classes and times which would suit everyone.

I joined Icon nearly 2 years ago after reading how BJJ can help people with anxiety and other MH issues. There is a real community and team spirit at Icon and Dave Terry and the all the coaches make you feel very welcome, they're approachable and helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Dave is able to motivate you and make you feel like you're not alone in your struggles which can sometimes make all the difference.

I started training at Icon in Belfast in November 2023, no background in martial arts or regular training. Have found everyone to be friendly, welcoming and helpful (coaches and other members alike). Coaches are always generous with their time and go out of their way to help. There are plenty of classes and opportunities to train (early morning, lunchtime, evenings, weekends), plenty of parking and the facilities are clean and modern.
