Cannot recommend Hicks highly enough. My daughter has attended for eight years. The support received from the instructors has been exceptional and the confidence my daughter has gained has been amazing to see, not only in her Martial arts ability but personally. Would give 10 stars if able 😊
Sensei and his teams are Amazing, stunning place my girls are loving their classes, my girls gained confidence, focus on the skill and build up lots of friends, truly welcome for the whole family. Iam highly recommend this place for learning martial arts.
I’ve been attending Hicks for almost 13 years and I can safely say this is where my confidence, self respect, discipline, and leadership skills have come from. Hicks is an excellent school that offers a range of classes with incredible instructors who care deeply about every single student. There’s never been a day where I’ve felt lost or as though I can’t ask about something I’m stuck on. I really couldn’t recommend Hicks enough, even just for the community they’ve built for everyone involved.
We visited Hicks Family Martial Arts School as our daughter wanted to try karate. She was nervous on her first day, but the team at Hicks made her feel incredibly welcome and at ease. She now goes at least twice a week and is making incredible progress, not only in working her way through the belts, but also in her confidence, agility, and determination. Highly recommended!
Hicks provide excellent all rounded lessons teaching children of all ages. The focus is on skills and developing the student. Andrew and his team are friendly and always go the extra mile for their students. Keep up the good work!

My daughter started many years ago Hicks karate and never regret. She is always want to come in every single lesson as well to help other students. She never lost motivation and keen to learn new skills. I highly recommend this club to everyone who is interested in martial arts.
My son has been attending now since the middle of last year and is absolutely loving it! Amazing instructors, amazing atmosphere and a truly welcoming place for the whole family. My 18 month old already watches at the door and will be joining the ninjas class as soon as she can!

I can’t recommend high enough because there’s only five stars. Not only has my child gained confidence, focus and a higher fitness level, he’s also gained friends in an environment that always pushes him to work hard and be his best version but also somewhere that feels like a big family.
Sensei and his team continue to give the students, both children and adults, all of their support and kindness, always going above and beyond! It’s not just a martial arts school; it’s so much more than that! The ethos for the school is to commit yourself to being the best and healthiest version, both mentally and physically and the team absolutely creates the environment for this and for personal growth.
We will forever be grateful to Sensei and the team! Worth. Every. Penny!
