My son loves coming to jiu jitsu and always looking forward to it. You can really see in Jaime how she really cares about how the kids do in class and spends her time showing and teaching them the right way!

I love HJJ!! I've been here almost two years and have had access to a variety of great teachers that excel in helping both new and advanced students learn the art. It's a great atmosphere for those wanting to learn and work hard.

I just want to say THANK YOU! I’m so glad HJJ offers homeschool classes. This was our 3rd day & my boys are so sad we won’t be coming Wednesday due to the Thanksgiving holiday because they love it & look forward to it THAT MUCH. I really appreciate how Jamie makes things simple & fun & is teaching them real skills at the same time. She pays attention to the kids personalities & addresses them accordingly. My son is an observer & wasn’t fully engaging & she noticed, gave him encouragement & helped correct him where he was struggling. I did not realize how much my boys NEED this outlet & finding HJJ has been such a blessing to our family. So grateful.

My grandson has been going to Heritage jiu-jitsu for several weeks now Jamie is a very calm , talented teacher, who helps the kids learn through experience , and trial and error, She helps them use their bodies in the best way to be successful. This has been a very positive experience for him and for us.

I've been training at the 6am classes here for a few months. Great atmosphere and place to train! Coach Eric puts a lot of thought into his classes, and is incredibly passionate about teaching jiu-jitsu. This is a great place to train no-gi jiu-jitsu

This morning i got the opportunity to roll with Eric for a 6am class at heritage jiu jotsu. As just a wee white belt, and a female fighter, i was grateful to have been met with lots of patience and encouragement! Eric is really thorough with instruction and you can tell he’s really passionate about what he does. In just an hour I really feel like my defensive game improved with his guidance. The other boys at the gym were also super friendly- great community and snazzy gym. I’ll be sure to return when I’m back in town!

Easily the most welcoming and friendly BJJ in the area for beginners, but also offers advanced classes ensuring everyone from all skill levels has a place. Everyone in there is supportive and Coach Jeremy & Jamie always look out everyone and truly make sure to teach the class throughly. Highly recommend for newcomers to at least try the trial, you won’t regret it.

All of my kids are taking classes here, each one has become stronger and more confident about themselves. My older daughers love the adult class. Great mixture of girls and boys in both classes. They teach morals, ethics and discipline. This is the real deal if you want full range training.

Coach Jeremy and Coach Jamie are incredible. This gym is like a family - we have five kids here who are learning not only technique but life skills and interaction on a professional level. We can’t say enough about this place. These people are salt of the earth. The kind of influence you want for your kids.

I have been at Heritage Jiu Jitsu for a little over a year now and have absolutely loved it. I was brand new to Jiu Jitsu and have learned a ton from Jeremy and the other coaches. Everyone is very welcoming and willing to help you learn, while not taking advantage of the fact that you are new or a lower rank. Tons of knowledge between the wide range of ranks and experience. There is also great flexibility between morning/night classes.

Great school and great instructors. Jeremy runs school and is awesome at teaching beginners and more advanced students alike. I came into the school with zero experience in BJJ and in a matter of 8 months feel like I can hold my own against more experience guys. I love the team and the LEGO block approach Jeremy takes to teaching the techniques. You really feel like you get a full understanding how and why you’re doing certain moves and actions. I would highly recommend the school to anyone wanting to try out BJJ. If you have kids you should really consider the school as well. My 6 year old loves the class and has expressed his excitement about learning the techniques. We often come home after class and wrestle around together and spend more time on exploring the things he learned in class that evening.

I have been training martial arts for over two decades and have trained all over the country. Heritage Jiu Jitsu, specifically Coach Jeremy has one of the best schools I've had the pleasure to train at. Fantastic training environment, great training partners and Coach Jeremy's instruction, attention to detail and technique is just plain amazing!

My two boys (8,6) and I train at Heritage Jiu-Jitsu for a couple of months now and I’ve noticed the subtle change in their behavior. A lot more disciplined in class and wanting to behave in class. Professor Jeremy and the coaches do an amazing job of holding the kids accountable for their actions. As far as the adult classes, it is very beginner friendly and the student are very welcoming. Family friendly atmosphere.

I cannot recommend THIS gym and learning Jiu Jitsu enough! It’s a close knit group where everyone is very welcoming and the coaches are amazing. I have really enjoyed training at Heritage Jiu Jitsu. The instruction is practical, targeted to all levels, and very easy to follow, even for beginners like me. Safety of your training partner is emphasized over bravado, helping to ensure members can keep a training regiment without getting injured. And, everyone you work with feels like family. I would recommend Heritage Jiu Jitsu to anyone.

My son and I recently joined Heritage Jiu Jitsu, and love it! Jeremy and Jamie have both been awesome to work with and have created a fun environment to train in. All of the students in the gym have been eager to share thoughts/techniques, as I have zero grappling experience. Jeremy does a great job of not overwhelming us with information, while clearly walking us through each move. My son has a blast in the kids class, and even as a 5 year old has picked up several of the basic concepts of Jiu Jitsu. We feel right at home and plan to train here long term.

I recently started training at Heritage after some time off from BJJ, and it has been an excellent experience. Top-level instruction and very friendly, welcoming, and talented team. Coach Jeremy dedicates significant time to developing a curriculum that allows students to develop a strong foundation and improve their game. During class, Jeremy breaks down components and also explains the details - how, when, and why. Jeremy ensures that everyone in class, from beginner to advanced, understands the techniques. More experienced students are also always willing to assist beginners. You can tell that everyone on the team wants to help each other improve. Highly recommend!

Recently, I’ve had the pleasure of dropping in on one of Professor Laviano’s courses. As a brown belt, I have traveled and trained in numerous other facilities under some incredible Black Belts. I was impressed with not only the amount of knowledge that was being delivered, but how it was delivered. Every detail was broken down in a way that it was easy for beginners to catch on, and the advanced to resharpen their tools. I must also say, It was nice to be in a smaller group setting where the Professor was able to come around and assist with questions, something that’s hard to find nowadays. The members were all very welcoming and respectful. If you are new to grappling or a practitioner passing through the area, I highly recommend Heritage Jiujitsu!!

Highly recommend Heritage Jiu Jitsu with Coach Jeremy and his assistant coach Jamie! I have 2 sons who attend their classes and have gained so much more than just learning the practice of Jiu Jitsu! They have learned about discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, courage, patience, and friendship. Coach Jeremy is knowledgeable in working in with kids of all different ages, levels, and personalities. Having a child with special needs can be challenging to find the right person to work with them, but Coach Jeremy is absolutely amazing with him! I highly recommend his class for anyone looking to have their child in something more than just a “sport”!

I have been training with Jeremy for a few years now. The thing that makes his teaching style stand out is he makes sure the needs of each student is met. He focuses on basic movements that a beginner can understand but for the more advanced students explains the importance of the micro movements. This allows all skill levels to get something out of every class.

I got to train under Professor Jeremy for an evening as an out-of-town guest of one of his students. I was impressed with his genuine kindness, and his willingness to meet you where you are at as a student. My background that evening was that I had studied jiu jitsu for a summer ten years ago, and was just a few months postpartum with a diastasis recti, but Professor Jeremy didn't make me feel ashamed of not being strong enough or remembering my past training well enough to do everything right away. He is known for focusing on fundamentals and learning them well instead of going too quickly, and I have seen first-hand, both in studying under him and in spectating 2 classes that my husband was a guest in, that Professor Jeremy is a black belt who explains things clearly, respectfully, and with true care for his students. His classes are well-structured and fun! Highly recommend.

Coach Jeremy is an amazing instructor who has competed against and trained alongside some of the best BJJ/MMA practitioners in the sport. He is especially good at guiding you towards techniques and concepts that help you overcome your own weaknesses (whether they be due to age, injuries, lack of fundamentals, etc.). His instruction and guidance has helped me improve my ground game over the years and has been worth every penny.

This is an excellent place to train! Professor Jeremy is a great teacher who understands not just martial arts, but how people learn new information and skills. He teaches practical jiu jitsu for self defense, with a focus on fundamentals that can extend into the sport as well. He works well with kids (my 6yo daughter loves him), as well as adults. Professor Jeremy is passionate about jiu jitsu, teaching, physical training, and the philosophies behind them all. It is rare to find such a well rounded, quality instructor, and you will be fortunate to train with him!

I’ve trained with Jeremy for several years (adult classes) and he invested a tremendous amount of extra time passing on his knowledge. He’s truly passionate about BJJ and if you are willing to listen, he’s willing to train and teach. Jeremy also skillfully trained our young son and he exhibited exceptional patience in getting our son to be more focused and disciplined. We became great family friends because Jeremy is an all-around great guy that treats his students like family. Wish we didn’t have to move so we could’ve trained with him more. I would’ve loved to continue to learn how to effectively defend the wrist-lock ;)

i have known jeremy since he began his jiu jitsu journey. he has dedicated his life to the study and teaching of jiu jitsu and become one of the most insightful instructors i know. he teaches with clarity and depth, but with a simplicity that enables the youngest of children or the most experienced hardcore mma guys to benefit from and enjoy his classes. i am proud to have started him on his journey but at this point i enjoy learning from his instruction.

Jeremy has privately trained my 17 year old daughter and 16 year old son for a year now (2 times per week). They focus on strength training exercises such as bench press, deadlift, squat and shoulder press and the importance of form, technique and safety. Jeremy's extensive knowledge and growth focused training style require hard work and dedication while also providing fun and successful gym experiences! Additionally, Jeremy's detailed log recordings allow the kids to understand and celebrate their training accomplishments. We highly recommend Jeremy Laviano's Heritage Jiu Jitsu Studio 804.

This guy is crazy. Don't trust them with your kids. I said they were hard to do business with and he Doxxed me and threatened to assault me. Too many performance enhancers? Btw, legally deaf so needing answers by text should not have been so hard! Original review below: I tried for 2 weeks to get information about the kids sessions. The email and the website does not work. The contact us page does not work. I tried going in person during business hours. There was nobody there to answer questions. There's no class schedule on the internet or age limits. This was a complete waste of my time. I'll be going to a different place.
