I’ve been training here at HeadNod Edwardsville since they started up in February. The community here is extremely welcoming and friendly for all experience levels. John has built a great culture and I highly recommend this gym to anybody thinking about dropping in!

This gym reignited my daughter’s love for BJJ! We’ve been training for 8 years, and my daughter had started to lose her passion for the sport—until she came to Coach John’s gym. The environment here is fun, safe, and incredibly welcoming. John creates a space where people of all levels can learn, grow, and enjoy training again. I drop in when I can, and it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive place to train!

Coach Ron is a very experienced martial artist and Jiujitsu athlete. I think he has a very unique and technical perspective on Jiujitsu which would benefit anybody trying to learn the art. Stop in and check it out!
