Gracie Humaita teaches the art of Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a form of mixed martial arts. Jiu Jitsu is used by many different people for different purposes such as self defense, in grappling tournaments, by law enforcement and even by military personnel.

    A great family friendly academy with excellent coaches who are invested in their student’s growth. Myself and my three kids enjoy learning together and the coaches are great at keeping the us motivated while we get a great workout. This place is also great at supporting women and girls. The coaches make my daughters feel comfortable and encouraged.

    This gym is amazing, from the incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly instructors to the members! Everyone is welcoming and willing to help out new students and old. It has become a 2nd home, gaining life-long friends in the process of getting a great workout and learning new skills.

    We've been attending classes at Gracie for over a year and still couldn't be happier. The family-oriented atmosphere and strong work ethic promoted make it very special. I would definitely recommend at least giving a trial class a shot!

    The best gym. As a mom of 3, the family-oriented atmosphere is extremely important to me. The coaches don’t care if my baby is crying or if we have to play “pass the baby” for me to get some training in. Amazing, welcoming atmosphere and even better people. Good people, great jiu jitsu.

    We love Gracie in edwardsville. My husband and two sons attend. The gym is extremely clean and the coaches do a great job with remembering names and spending time with all their students. Would recommend
