Instruction is best in the area with great professor/coach to student ratio! Very family friendly as they have an area for kids to play if you need to bring them while you train. They offer classes at different times throughout the day to try and accommodate people with different schedule. Great environment with welcoming students as well.

My 8 year old son and I started training here a couple months ago. It’s been a great way for my son and I to bond. They are very welcoming and it’s a good atmosphere. Training has made me improve personal lifestyle choices. I have noticed it’s helped my son build self confidence. It’s also helped improve his social skills, discipline and to be respectful. Thankful to be a part of the GB family.

Joining this school 14 months ago was the best decision for my son! After trying several select sports options, he found his true passion was for Brazilian Jui Jitsu. The instructor led classes are very organized! There is an option for everyone at this school….from kids, women, and adults of all ages….weekly training to meet self led goals to competitive travel team. It’s all here! My family started training here a while back and had nothing but GREAT things to say about it. They loved it so much they convinced me to come try it out and now I’ve been going strong for about a year and don’t plan on stopping. Great environment, everyone is family there, and you’ll feel welcome as soon as you step through the door. Highly recommend.

If you are considering a Jiu Jitsu school for you or your children, the Gracie-Barra school in Collinsville is the best program in the area. The owners are friendly and extremely accommodating. The facility is awesome, very spacious and well laid out. The instruction is professional and curriculum based. Highly recommended!

I am a beginner (white belt) and I've been going for about a month now. My 2 kids (9 and 7) also go 2 to 3 times a week. For all 3 of us its about the price of eating out each time we go and its way better for you than that! The teachers/coaches are very kind and encouraging. Everyone is VERY friendly and welcoming. The place is very professional and welcoming to newcomers, while also offering advanced training for those with experience. I would absolutely recommend this place for kids. My kids are already benefiting quite a bit; learning discipline, fitness, respect, and self defense. Its a great way to give them confidence without their little heads getting all kinds of concussions. Jiu Jitsu for EVERYONE!

Started training BJJ a few months ago. I can say that this place is amazing trains all ages and all levels. A clean and family environment for not only for casual trainee but also the advance. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would and have recommended it to multiple people.

I had no issues with the classes but trying to cancel has been horrible. It took 2 weeks for someone to finally pick up the phone because surprise it's a call tree. The first gentleman informed me that oh he doesn't even work for them anymore but he would pass on a message he did not. The second woman informed me that they had been bought and that might been an issue but she would forward my message, again this is after I've been calling for 2 weeks straight and letting the phone ring more than seven times. I don't get a call back I get an email, said email starts friendly reminder I'm required for a 30-day notice to cancel. Which I just found super rude, I think you should be more concerned about the fact it took 2 weeks for me to get ahold of you over the fact about it takes 30 days to cancel. But anyways though cancel me in 30 days and look into their call tree issue. But I wouldn't use this location.

This is not a good dojo for kids. They play to much. Not enough structure in class. The lead instructor seems good, but the business overall is bad. They prorate when you join. But if you cancel They will charge the full month that follows the cancelation date. Will not recommend for kids. The adult class is large and seems better suited for his teaching abilities. The price is also significantly higher than the other places around. We thought that would equal a better experience, not true
