Hampshire BJJ offers Brazilian Jiu Jitsu kids classes for all levels in the Chandler's Ford area. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the fastest growing Martial Arts.

Training BJJ since 2014 and coaching kids since 2017. Active competitor with 12 podium finishes. Passionate about building confident, technical grapplers from day one.

Jon

Black Belt

Started BJJ in 2012 and earned his black belt in 2023. Also a Judo black belt and Sanda British title holder. Loves helping kids grow in confidence on and off the mat.

Great club. I have trained at Hampshire Bjj for ABIT now and I can honestly say it's the best one I've trained at. Everyone was welcoming from the off and Alex and Jon are great coaches. It has a great atmosphere and it's a great community of people who train there.

Awesome experience! The community is so friendly and welcoming and the instructors are fantastic. They teach a great mix of positions, sequences, and underlying concepts in good detail which really helps you understand as a beginner. I struggle with anxiety but have only been met with patience and support here. 10/10 recommend for anyone interested in learning BJJ.

My daughter has been training with Hampshire BJJ for a couple of months now and absolutely loves it. She was made to feel welcome and included in the group straight away, training has improved her fitness levels, made her feel stronger and more confident. Alex and Jon are both fab instructors, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hampshire BJJ to other parents! 🌟

Great club. Extremely welcoming to all - beginners are made to feel part of things as much as more experienced members. The ethos is very much one of support and development rather than ego. In just a short space of time I’ve seen huge transformation in my teenage son in terms of confidence, and that’s a direct result of being part of this club. If you’re looking to take your first steps in this martial art, I can’t recommend Hampshire BJJ highly enough.

I have been really impressed with the training Alex and his team provide to my son and all the kids involved in his Hampshire BJJ Jiu Jitsu sessions. My son loves the classes and they provide him with a safe and structured place to learn. The physical nature of jiu jitsu and the boundaries implemented by the Hampshire BJJ team have created a great environment for the children to develop discipline and respect in controlled combat. Its brilliant for their confidence. Highly recommended for all levels of physical abillity.

A great little club. Been there with my two children since the beginning and they love it. All the instructors have great patience and knowledge and have transformed my children’s confidence. They have a great mix of sizes, abilities and ages along with the right amount of focused ju-jutsu tuition complimented with games that also develop technique, improve fitness that works very well for the younger members and at the end of the classes it’s always a fun group activity that brings everyone together. Extremely reasonably priced and I feel very confident that my children are cared for and safe the times that I am unable to sit and watch. Very happy.

I've been training at Hampshire BJJ for 4 months now, and it has been brilliant. The coaches are very good at instructing and it they look after the students very well. If you are a complete beginner, or even if you have been doing it for a few years, there is definitely something for you there!

Superb class, both my children 8 and 11 absolutely love it. The teacher is incredibly calm and an all round great teacher, can’t recommend highly enough for all kids who would like to learn some self defence skills in a skilled calm approach.
