    I love this place. You are always welcome at any skill level, and the instructors are kind, patient, and very skilled. It's a great environment. I always leave feeling a thousand times better than when I walked in.

    Amazing instructors. Great with kids. They were patient , kind and built confidence and discipline. Our grandson has been taking Jui Jitsu in Australia and is here for a 2 month visit. He fit right in and continued his training here. Thanks Ground Control

    I visited Ground Control when I was in town to see family, for a nogi class and open mat, and it was great. The space is clean and pleasant, with two mat areas. Class was fun, and as a visiting white belt, I felt safe and comfortable working with everyone. I had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people in terms of size, skill level, and gender, which I appreciate. I had fun rolls at the open mat too, and thanks to Mike and Noel for teaching me some fun stuff while we were at it!

    Honestly a very great gym for starters and intermediates. you have spectacular coaches like professors Erin and coach Dancy who are extremely patient and knowledgeable, they will stay with you for a long time until you get the move correct. You have the Owner Mike, who’s really nice and understanding if you can’t make a payment on time or you don’t have enough to furlough it. this gym is very compelling because of the quantity of people that go here (not too much so your are not treated as a number, but as a real student) u have teammates who step out of their way to help you if they see you struggling. i really like this gym ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and i recommend it to all fellows.

    Highly recommend this gym. Even though this isn't my main gym since I live farther away, it's worth the drive. This is the place I go to when I want to go to an open mat, and I've also been to a few of their classes as a drop-in. It's a great, well-maintained facility in a pretty part of Baltimore County. It's full of friendly people and I always feel welcome here.
