Visiting Burlington for a week and needed somewhere to train. Reached out to Jason (Owner) to see if the gym was drop in friendly and immediately knew this was the perfect gym to train when I visit. Dropped in for an open mat and a Monday night class. You can tell instantly that these guys train well, safe, and hard. Awesome environment. Highly recommend for anyone visiting or trying out jiu jitsu for the first time.
Posted 1 month agoI dropped into Grind BJJ Monday after hearing about it online. I am staying in the area for the week and Jason and his crew were very welcoming. I ended up training the whole week with these guys. They are so tough at every belt level, across the board. No McDojo here, if you want tough rounds and real technical jiu jitsu this is the place to come to. I am so impressed with their attitude, work ethic, technique, physicality, and their humility. They were just so good by every metric, this is the true spirit of jiu jitsu. What an incredible week at Grind BJJ THANK YOU!!!
Posted 7 months agoDropped in for a session while on a short work trip from the Philippines. I appreciate Professor Jason and the guys for welcoming me. I had fun sparring with them, and the drills were really helpful for me. I can tell they have a great culture and would come back if given the chance.
Posted 10 months agoI had a great time training at Grind! The skill level is high, the people are great, and the coach, Jason, was top notch.
Posted 11 months agoTotal beginner, never boxed before and felt completely out of my element. Jason was the coolest, made me feel super comfortable while giving me a great workout. It was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this gym and I can’t wait for my next private session!
I visited Grind BJJ while travelling through Vermont last week and had an awesome time. The training was technical and intense, and everyone was very welcoming! Highly recommended.
I love this place. Jason is a great instructor and a high caliber individual. The team is full of super welcoming and tough people. There is nothing easy about training here but you will be glad you did.
Such a welcoming school, good people, great instruction. Highly recommend. 👍
My favorite place to train
Great coach, good people, tough workout.
Down the hall straight ahead first door on the left. Hands on instruction. Awesome people. Plenty of opportunities to try out new techniques. Not a lot of sitting around listening. Pretty spar heavy at all skill levels.
Unpretentious learning environment. Worth every penny. They don't waste your time or your money. Talented instructor who is firm, fair and technical but has intuitive people skills. Couldn't ask for a better gym. They grind and everyone in there loves it and respects the process and each other. Super supportive.
Great People and best gym in town Oss
