We have nothing but good things to say about this gym. All the coaches are amazing and you can tell they love what they do. The amount of passion they teach their students is very admirable. Our 8 year old son has been doing this sport for some time now and the relationship that he's built with the coaches is amazing. The community that this gym has built is so close they feel like a second family. If you are looking for a gym to learn jiu jitsu and to become a great grappler this is definitely the gym. You will definitely not regret it and would highly recommend this place. It's also a great place for the whole family to try.
Posted 4 months agoI cannot recommend Gravity Lab Jiu Jitsu highly enough, especially for families looking for a great training environment for their children. For the past three years my son has been training directly under Christian Major, and the development we’ve seen in him both on and off the mats is a testament to Christian's skill as a coach and mentor. When Christian decided to open his own academy following him was an easy decision, and the transition has been seamless. Christian is a great grappler and a great coach. He has an ability to connect with kids, and teach complex Jiu Jitsu techniques with patience. He genuinely cares about the long-term development of every student. The new Gravity Lab facility itself is clean, professional, and provides the perfect setting for learning. If you're looking for a Jiujitsu academy where the coaching is top tier, the community is positive, and the lead instructor has a proven successful history with his students, look no further. Highly recommend!
Posted 4 months agoGreat gym! Coach Major creates a good environment for everyone. Kids and adults can go from being a beginner to confidently understanding fundamentals of jiu jitsu. The amount of commitment to his students goes above and beyond. There is fun light classes for younger kids, classes for parents and competition classes for competing athletes. He's brought our kids from not knowing if jiu jitsu was there thing to winning medals consistently.
Posted 4 months agoCoach Christian has been teaching my daughter for years, and I couldn’t ask for a more respectful and caring coach! He always encourages the kids to do and be their best, and he is always there for them at EVERY competition to support them. He has been doing jiu jitsu for a long time and has a lot of knowledge that he loves to share with anyone who wants to learn regardless of age. I have personally seen him training kids as young as 3 and adults in their 60’s. He truly loves the art of jits and teaching others!
Posted 3 months agoI had the pleasure of being trained by Coach Christian and it was the best experience. I had no former Jiu Jitsu experience and was super new. Christian took his time in teaching me the fundamentals with great patience. Not only did he explain things well but made sure everyone understands the techniques. He always pushes everyone to be the best grapplers they can be while remaining super humble and bringing a positive environment every day.
