Posted 7 months agoI can't say enough great things about Gracie Venice! From the first day I stepped onto the mats, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome and part of the community. The instructors, especially Troy Gerhart, are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also patient, supportive, and genuinely invested in every student's progress. Whether you're looking to compete, learn self-defense, or simply get in shape and have fun, this is the perfect place. The atmosphere is always positive, respectful, and motivating. Joining this school and team has been one of my best decisions. I am a brown belt and highly recommend it to anyone considering starting or continuing their Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey! You won't find a better training room in South West Florida.

From black belts to white belts they all are welcoming and eager to learn and grow together. Troy and his coaches definitely go out of their way to make sure everyone is getting the level of training they need and having a good time doing it. Couldn't be happier I joined here
Posted 9 months agoI am a brown belt that transferred from another school. Gracie Venice Jiu Jitsu offers everything that I am looking for in a school! Troy Gerhart is an excellent professor who pays attention to his students and their advancement in the martial arts of Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, and MMA. Everything we do has a purpose. Gracie Venice provides a culture that promotes learning, team, friendship, and fun! The school fosters a safe a d clean environment. Whether you are a beginner, advanced martial artist, competitor, or just a hobbyist practitioner, Gracie Venice is the place for you!
Posted 10 months agoOur 15 year old joined 3 months ago and this has been the best experience he had with a sport. He doesn’t miss a class and is always enthusiastic about it ! He feels his team mates are like family . The biggest change I saw in my son is his confidence boost. He is more calm and mature. Thank you Troy for being such a positive roll model and for offering our son a safe and fun place to learn !
