I had the chance to check out my professor’s gym, and I can confidently say it’s an outstanding place! The gym is huge, spotless, and well-organized, providing the perfect environment to work out. The atmosphere is welcoming, with an amazing community where everyone supports each other, especially with the experienced members always ready to help the newcomers. Without a doubt, it’s the largest in the area and truly a standout. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch place to train!

Highly recommend! My son started at 4 years old. If you know our Bear, you know he’s strong, big, and a little wild..and we love him for it. In OT/PT, he had to learn to use that strength well.. while other kids carried around blankets, they literally suggested we decorate a gallon of water for him to haul around instead. (They weren’t joking!) When he aged out, it was clear we needed something to help him burn his big energy/strength and steward that wild, free spirit God gave him. They suggested something like Jiu Jitsu or wrestling to help exercise his muscles. Alliance Jiu Jitsu Venice has been just that answer to prayer. Coach Fabio is the real deal; someone we trust to meet our son right where he’s at and guide him as he grows. He’s always been our bull in a china shop… but we really believe this is the start of something so good for him! This has been SO worth it.

I was visiting from out of town and called to see if I could drop in, the owner picked up my call right away, and was very inviting. I went to 3 classes, in the week. The instructor was very knowledgeable, I learned some new techniques, and even though I was from out of town, the instructor spent time with me drilling to make sure I understood. The other students were awesome to roll with, and very friendly and gave good hard rolls. I have been to a lot of gyms, this is a good one, I look forward to going back when I am in town again. I went back to visit family while in Sarasota, and I always look for a local gym to go to so I can get some training in. I was very excited to find that there was an Alliance location in Venice, as I train with Alliance Boise at home. Professor Fabio was extremely inviting, as were my two main training partners at Alliance Venice (thank you Joe and Jake for your hospitality). If you live in the area, I would highly recommend this Jiu Jitsu gym. The Alliance Jiu Jitsu Team in general is a place you can let your family train at without worry, unlike some other gyms due to the atmosphere they provide and allow. Alliance Venice is no exception to this great team, and they are an amazing group. It was truly a welcoming and friendly place to train, and the facility is absolutely top notch. I can’t thank you enough, Professor Fabio, or your amazing students for the great time I had.

I can’t even explain how much I appreciate the cleanliness of Alliance 😍 Even though we train hard, getting a good sweat on for hours, the mats are always kept so clean! Resilient Fertility

I am a mom of two students at Alliance Jiu Jitsu, a 5 yo and a 3.5 yo boys, even though they are so young, they are able to fully participate in classes with older kids because of clear instruction, and paring them with the appropriate child to match their capabilities. I also appreciate how warm, welcoming and open Fabio- the owner and the trainers who he chooses to work with him. The atmosphere is like a family and within just one class we all felt belong and not alienated. I love that they incorporate fitness and much of it in the class, I love that they can get 3 class a week and the flexibility around schedule (morning and evening class) and around uniform, they can enjoy tumbling with fitness clothes and not always wear a ghi (which at this age could be a little struggle). I like how they are being treated equally regardless of their young age. Fabio, is a very friendly person, he is funny, and present, he cars about what’s going on with his students beyond class. He follows each student progress and make sure to teach them the lesson they personally need at that time. The class flows even when some times this little people have all kinds of feelings and back sets, he knows how to release they good energy and help them to let go of tension, creativity! I feel grateful to belong!

Alliance Venice is a home away from home. I came across the gym while looking for a place for my son to train for the summer while he was in Florida, he is fairly experienced and I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to find a place to train that was up to par. Alliance was it!!!! They welcomed him and my family on day 1. Fabio and Flavia are the most welcoming people and all the instructors and students are as well, and the training my son got while there, was impeccable and top tier!!! The knowledge of Fabio and his instructors can’t be topped. We have now enrolled our youngest son to start his JiuJitsu journey there and I am even thinking of getting into it myself. We drive almost 30 minutes to go there, even when there are closer gyms than Alliance to my house. But we drive there because they are the best in all aspects and they are truly a family there.

I went in here and tryed it out i signed up after the first session these people were very friendly to me the brown belts were super knowledgeable of jiujitsu and Noone in here had a ego this was a bunch of super chill super friendly super deadly people trying to get better together I look forward to all my future sessions with alliance

We love the approach Alliance Jiu Jitsu team has! Wonderful attentive teachers, kind, friendly and knowledgeable! It's the best school to train in. My son has become more confident, respectful, strong and disciplined. He loves the place and his coaches! Pedagogical and psychological approach is very important for us when we choose teachers and mentors for our 7 year old kid. We cannot be more grateful that Fabio and his team made it happen with fun, patience and positive reinforcement.

There's never a lack of good teachers. And there's always something new to learn. From our first trial membership day we could see this is a top notch jiu-jitsui training gym. Fabio is incredible with kids, welcoming to parents, and is providing a fantastic fun yet structured learning atmosphere. Alliance has great instructors. The kids are learning jiu-jitsui as well as discipline and life lessons. Thank you Fabio, Flavia, Nathan, Alex, Rob, Beth and all the instructors for your dedication to the youth program. Wonderful experience. My two boys (7 & 5) are on the shy side and I was a bit worried about them getting incorporated. But they love it and one month in I am already seeing positive change where they approach difficult tasks with more effort and persist longer. I would highly recommend enrolling your kids if you believe in investing in your children.

Great instruction in a wonderful atmosphere. The best place to train in the area! There is always a good group of training partners from white belt and up to roll with. Fabio does a fabulous job integrating new students right away and teaching the basics, but is still able to throw in more advanced technique for the upper belts. It makes for a really amazing learning environment. Doesn't matter if you are young or old, new to the game or a veteran of the mats you will be able to improve your game and have fun at Alliance.
