  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely the best gym in the area! My son has been training at Valhalla MMA for over 3 years now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best things that’s ever happened to him. The growth in his confidence, discipline, and skill has been incredible. Coach Alrey and his family run the gym with passion and dedication. They don't just teach kids and adults how to fight—they teach respect, mental strength, and the importance of building each other up. It's a real community, and they treat you like family from day one. Whether you're looking for serious fight training or just want to learn MMA in a supportive and motivating environment, Valhalla MMA in Port Charlotte/North Port is the place to go. They even promote fights and give their students the chance to test themselves when they’re ready. This is hands down the most badass gym I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend it to anyone—kids, adults, beginners or pros. Valhalla isn’t just a gym. It’s a way of life.

  While I don’t write reviews very often, this place definitely deserves the recognition! Valhalla MMA has been a game-changer for our family. My two kids ages 9 and 11, have thrived in the youth kickboxing classes for almost two years, and I’ve recently been attending the adult sessions as well. The senseis are exceptional, they are always patient, highly skilled, and genuinely invested in each student’s progress. The facility is clean, well-equipped, and organized. Every class starts on time, and the senseis strike the perfect balance between pushing us to improve and keeping the atmosphere fun and supportive. Over the past two years we’ve seen: • Significant boosts in confidence, discipline, and focus • Noticeable improvements in strength, technique, and endurance • A welcoming community where every member cheers each other on Whether you’re looking for your kids to build self-esteem and coordination or you want a challenging adult workout that sharpens your mind as much as your body, and boosts confidence, Valhalla MMA delivers.   I have been heavily involved in martial arts, across the U.S., for almost half a century. I have trained and competed heavily. I have taught and coached for decades. I have been to countless various martial arts tournaments and promotions across the U.S. for decades, as a competitor, coach, and official. In other words, I have seen the best, the worst, and the mundane. Valhalla MMA not only produces world-class competitors, but they also put on the best MMA events I have EVER seen! The matchmaking, and thus the fights, are phenomenal! The events ALWAYS start on-time and end on-time - absolutely unheard of in ANY tournament or promotion. They are the best organized, best run events, BY FAR, that I have ever seen!

  This is the 3rd gym/martial arts academy I've regularly attended in my 8 year training career and I would have to say it's the best between the 3 and that's saying alot since I think the 2 were amazing! I definitely recommend if you just want to learn something cool, an alternative way to get a workout in or if you're trying to step into the cage/ring. This is where it's at!
