Instructor Alexandre is excellent. He is very knowledgeable and articulate, speaking both French and English. He conveys the fundamental values of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu very well. He offers numerous class times throughout the week. He welcomes men and women of all ages, makes them feel comfortable, and guides them step by step in their learning. The atmosphere during the classes is friendly and safe, with realistic scenarios and a touch of humor. Adult partners challenge and respect each other. The dojo is always very clean. Thank you, Alexandre. It really is the best place in the region to learn the fundamentals of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and grow in a respectful environment with a very competent instructor. There are several class times and the dojo is always clean. I recommend it 100%.

So glad I found BJJ! Such a complete workout! (self-defense, cardio, flexibility, sharpening reflexes) Everything I love! The structure (Gracie) is well-organized. I'm progressing at my own pace. Alexandre is an excellent and passionate instructor. As a woman, gaining this wealth of knowledge in such a respectful environment is fantastic!

My son and I started jiu-jitsu here, and we couldn't have found a better instructor. He's always smiling and, from what I can tell, very competent. He has an answer for every question, and it shows when he demonstrates the techniques (based on my limited knowledge of BJJ). He creates a very positive atmosphere in his classes. He teaches well, emphasizes a safe approach, and takes care of everyone during the lessons. The training room is always clean. The mats are very comfortable when it comes to falls. There's no pain when you're being taken down and learning how to fall. Regarding the Gracie program, I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's very well structured. It offers very interesting videos to complement the instructor's teaching, and the techniques are very accessible (I'm 50, my son is 14). The program's structure, in my opinion, makes it much easier to begin learning sequences of techniques and potentially compete against other students ("rolling"). In short, nothing but positives. Reading William Constantin's review below mine, I realized I had also overlooked this important point and that I completely agree with William: all the participants I met were indeed friendly, and he practices the sport with sufficient intensity, but not too much.
