The dojo at the Quebec Martial Arts Academy, led by Sensei Frédéric Métivier, is, in my opinion, both a respectable and inspiring place. It offers a rich and multidisciplinary education, where progress is made through respect, commitment, and practice. I sincerely recommend this dojo for the diversity of styles taught, the quality of the instruction, and the human touch. The classes are very affordable, making martial arts accessible to everyone without compromising the quality of the teaching. Sensei's great availability, both for sharing knowledge and for dialogue and guidance, makes all the difference. An excellent place to develop both body and mind.

Very happy with the service, open several days a week, varied learning, and easy-to-grasp memorization techniques. Sensei knows his art well.

I've been training here for 20 years; it's truly a great school. The instructor has dedicated his life to martial arts, so if you really want to learn from the best, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it.

I enrolled my son in this activity and I had never seen him so happy to participate in a sporting activity.

I went there because I needed to improve my martial arts skills and also get in good physical shape, and I found what I was looking for. I recommend it to everyone because everyone chooses what they want to do and won't be judged.

Excellent for physical conditioning and for learning martial arts and combat sports (boxing, kick-boxing and jiu-jitsu). I am currently a student and I recommend coming and giving it a try!!

This place is great!! Even from the first time you feel truly welcomed. The schedule's very vast and diverse and you have the chance to try and practice numerous different styles and martial arts. The Sensei is super knowledgeable and wants you to learn and feel good in class. The dojo's super clean and well equipped. The people are friendly and helpful and the ambiance is just great. I've been going since December last and signing up at this school was one of the best decisions I took recently. Highly recommended!

I attended this dojo from 2010 to 2012. In his final year, Sifu/Sensei discovered mixed martial arts and abandoned the martial arts philosophy of self-control and self-improvement in favor of machismo and the law of the strongest. My classmates and I, both karate and kung fu, abandoned this school as we were intimidated by a gang of Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners stealing our practice facilities. Avoid this place like the plague.
