Without question the best jiu-jitsu gym I've trained at for me, felt at home straight away the instructors are fantastic at getting the principles of Gracie jiu-jitsu across and its a really good atmosphere very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I’m a month in to my jiu-jitsu journey and having an absolute blast at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Marple! GJJ doesn’t require you to be a certain size, shape, or fitness level. Prior experience isn’t required. Anyone can take part. If you’re thinking about learning self-defence, GJJ Marple is the place to do it! The environment is warm and welcoming with a real focus on safety and comfortability. Not to mention, it’s a good laugh. Get yourself down, you won’t regret it! 🇧🇷🥋🤙

Nothing but good words for both Rob, Matt and the wider supporting experienced belts who all support the new and existing members. I’ve been attending for nearly 2 years and was made to feel extremely welcome and made some fantastic new friends along the way. Looking forward to seeing what the next 2 years brings. Keep up the fantastic work guys you are a credit to Jiu Jitsu and the Gracie way.

Calm and inclusive training environment with emphasis on education and building knowledge. No ego's on the mat and delivered at an individuals pace which gives the body time to adjust to new movement without risking injuries. Glad the place was recommended to me.

I’m nearly 2 months in having started on the 10 day free trial. I was made very welcome as soon as I walked in, by both the instructors and members. The quality of instruction and the structured teaching system are first class. The members help each other and it’s great fun. If you’re thinking of taking up Jiu -Jitsu, don’t hesitate, just come along. You won’t regret it. I wish I’d started earlier. Age is no barrier.

Great club! Great instructors! Great members! Structured classes with very knowledgeable instructors. Beginners welcomed each week and meticulously taught the techniques. The only problem is….that I didn’t start sooner!

Unfortunately, my experience at this club was quite negative. The trainer showed a lack of compassion and understanding for the needs of others, and most concerningly, did not respect the tap, a basic and critical safety principle in jiu-jitsu. In my opinion, he lacks the ability to train others safely and effectively, something that became apparent during my time there. The risk of injury is simply too high under this kind of guidance. I cannot recommend this club for jiu-jitsu training. Thankfully, most other jiu-jitsu clubs are far more professional and safety-conscious, and I would encourage others to explore those alternatives instead
