I dropped in as a guest tonight . I was immediately struck with the fabulous facility and welcoming atmosphere. The instruction and training partners were excellent. As an older and lighter weight grappler, I felt quite at ease with everyone I trained with. I highly recommend Andy Bryant and his team to anyone who wishes to train jiu-jitsu in this area!

I travel around the country for work and take the opportunities to do drop-in classes at different gyms when I cant train at my home gym. Andy and Chris are highly skilled and make you feel welcome and safe. Everyone I met was humble and appreciates the art form. I got to watch the kid's class as well, which were very fun but also technical.

I happened to be visiting family in Homer/Commerce and was excited to learn that a BJJ gym was nearby. I had a fantastic experience as visitor! They let me drop-in in for the 6-7PM class and provided me with a GI as I did not travel with one. The facility was great. The gym is a large space with bright sunny windows and clean mats, bathrooms and change rooms . The class was taught clearly with ample time to practice the movements and ask questions from the instructors. Finally, the gym atmosphere was incredibly friendly. Every participant came up to introduce themselves and were eager to roll. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Commerce is fantastic gym and I look forward to visiting again when in the area.

Fantastic gym. Excellent sportsmanship. I’m a pro fighter, been training and competing for 14 years with plenty of injuries due to peeps who don’t know what they were doing, I didn’t feel a risk of injury while training at this gym at any point. The coach was more than welcoming, stuck with the basics which I love. Basics win matches. Couldn’t have felt more comfortable or welcomed. 10/10 would recommend

I split time for work in between New York and Georgia and stopped in here to keep fresh for an upcoming fight. Super welcoming people and rewarding rolls. No one was trying to prove anything- their skill level did all of the talking they needed to. Very paced and controlled and a safe environment. Very clean with tons of space. Instructional portion of class was very detailed and practical. I am moving here permanently in July and hopefully can make this school my home. Very impressed .

Wow! I have been SO impressed with Gracie Jiu Jitsu in Commerce, GA!! Mr. Chris is so amazing with the children, And Mr. Andy (along with Mr. Chris) are also wonderful with the older ones. My kids have been so encouraged and honored to go here. This has been a blessing for our family as an “out” mentally and physically! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Highly recommend!!

All of the instructors at the school care for you from day 1 and make sure you have fun while learning BJJ. I highly recommend trying them out! Its been a honor to be a part of Andy's team. Being over 50 is a challenge physically but you can go at your own pace. Keep in mind the elderly are being attacked everday. I started training at Gracie Jiu Jitsu Commerce in October. My experiences here have all been positive, and all of my expectations exceeded. Andy and Lindsey are both excellent instructors.They have created an environment that is ideal for learning and personal growth. Often times the idea of going into a martial arts academy can be intimidating, but I can assure you that will not be the case here. Everyone I have met here is friendly and trains with humility and respect for others. We focus on making each other better, while also emphasizing safety. Training here will provide you with practical self defense techniques, as well as many other benefits. I can’t say enough great things about this academy. The only advice I can offer is to put aside your hesitation and give it a try, you won’t regret it.

This is an amazing gym with an awesome instructor! I joined them for a class and I'm so happy that I did. I'm a black belt from a different lineage. However, I felt extremely welcomed and even learned a few new tricks while I was there. This is one of the nicest and most clean gyms that I have ever been to. If you are interested in jiu-jitsu give them a try. You will not be disappointed! I'll definitely be back soon!

I have been attending since they opened and out of the three gyms I've been a part of since starting Jiu-Jitsu, I can say that I feel most at home here. The facilities are top notch and the instruction is spot-on. I hesitated checking it out since a lot of gyms are "predatory". They try to lock you in to a 100 year contract and only want your money. That is absolutely not the case here. There are flexible membership options and you can tell that these guys genuinely want to see you every day.
