My two sons have been attending CMAC for several years now learning Tae Kwon Do under Master Castro, Mr. Castro, and Ms. Harvey. The instruction from the three is superb. It has been very rewarding watching my sons learn and develop their martial art skills and physical abilities. They are growing up to be confident, honorable, athletic, and disciplined young leaders. The values that the school instills in children such as courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit really pays off in their everyday lives, including at school and home. My sons are always eager to attend their Tae Kwon Do classes and other CMAC activities. Thanks CMAC!

“Master Castro is nice but strict in a way that gets you going.” Words of my 10 year old for whom TKD is having a great impact!

We love this place. My son is like a different person when he walks into class- so calm and attentive. The classes are fun but the kids show huge amounts of respect to each other and Master/ Mister Castro. Can't recommend enough. Oh.... I also love the exercise equipment that parents can use during class :)

Castro Martial arts is such a great place for kids! The little girl I babysit absolutely loves it. Every time she leaves class she is so excited to tell anyone she can about how much she learned at class that day!

I am a past student of Jose Castro when he was at Athens YMCA. I returned to the Athens area and joined CMAC in June 2022. In one month’s time my health, spirit and confidence has been fully restored due to the unique training not to be found at any fitness center. CMAC is well known for offering children a path to deal with life in a challenging world. My message is there is much to offer for adults - CMAC currently has students as old as in their 70’s (I am 63 by the way)

Castro Martial Arts is our families choice for taekwondo instruction. We can't recommend Chief Master Jose Castro & Naaman enough for their diligence with our pursuit of martial arts knowledge and availablity for testing.
