Coach Rick is amazing, so much development has been made with my son and discipline in just a month of attending classes. My son loves the classes and they really help him focus and be more disciplined.

I have been a member of Gracie Humaita Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy in Mississauga for almost 2 years now. From day one Coach Rick and the training staff have been nothing but supportive, encouraging, and patient. I decided to start my Jiu Jitsu journey at 56 and visited a number of academies before joining this academy! If you are anyone in your family is interested in learning this martial art I highly recommend Garcie Humaita in Mississauga! Learn Jiu Jitsu, build self confidence, get into shape surrounded by a community of great Coaches peers and friends!

Gracie Humaita Mississauga is a great place to train with knowledgeable, welcoming instructors who genuinely help students improve at all levels. The atmosphere is friendly and supportive while still offering high-quality, challenging training. They provide a strong mix of Mixed Martial Arts- BJJ (Gi and No-Gi), wrestling, and boxing, giving plenty of options to develop different skills. The academy has a great community, and it’s always a place I look forward to training. Highly recommend to anyone interested in martial arts.

I've had a great experience training at Gracie Humaita Jiu-Jitsu. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping every student improve, regardless of experience level. The atmosphere is welcoming and respectful, making it a great place for beginners. I would definitely recommend!!

We came to Gracie Humaitá after a bad experience at another studio, and Coach Rick has completely turned things around. He’s so patient, fun, and has total control over the class while fostering a respectful and supportive environment. When my son or any of the kids struggle with instructions, Coach Rick and the other coaches always take the time to show them and ensure they understand. Since joining, my son is more motivated—both in Jiu Jitsu and in everyday life. He looks forward to class every single day. We’re so glad to be a part of Coach Rick’s class and can’t wait to continue learning. Highly recommend Gracie Humaitá for anyone looking for a place where kids not only learn Jiu Jitsu but also build confidence and character!

The skills, leadership and knowledge that all the coaches/instructors here demonstrate is completely amazing! They are confident, respectful and professional at all times! They are wonderful with teens/ kids and adults! They have been such meaningful mentors to my son. Coach Rick, Coach Karan, Coach Tyson and Coach Mike to name a few have been such great leaders for my son. Definitely recommend this place for anyone willing to learn.

Gracie Humaitá BJJ has been an amazing experience for my 11-year-old. The kids’ program is well-structured, fun, and designed to instill both confidence and discipline. Coach Rick is patient, encouraging, and knows how to connect with the kids while still challenging them to improve. What I appreciate most is the balance: the classes build real BJJ skills, but also teach respect, focus, and teamwork. My son looks forward to every session, and the positive environment makes it feel like more than just a sport, it’s a community.

Professional Top Coaches !!! Fabulous- clean atmosphere. Everyone is warm and welcoming... We just started karate as well... Coaches are patient, attentive to each child and they do an amazing job of instilling life skills / values etc. along with technical skills of BJJ.. cant say enough!! Coach Rick is AMAZING!!! So happy Gracie Humaitiá is now offered in Mississauga
