  No place like home. This gym has become a staple for our family and we can't imagine life without Professor Edgar and Professor Kimberly. My girls learn an enormous amount there, and have fun as well. The teaching, instructions and training is top notch. All the students there support each other, train hard, respect one another and grow as individuals and as a team.

  Gracie Barra Valencia is amazing! My my 8 yr old son has been training under Professor Edgar now for almost 3 years and I just started training earlier this year. He is a fantastic teacher. Patient, encouraging and funny, but if you or your kid need to learn discipline, he is not afraid of calling you/them out. His positivity and enthusiastic approach makes every class enjoyable. The gym is always clean and well lit, and has sufficient seating for parents who want to watch their kids train. If you’re looking for quality BJJ in the Santa Clarita Valley, this is your spot.

  I can’t say enough good things about this gym. The quality of instruction is excellent, the quality of training partners is excellent, and the attitude/culture of the gym is excellent. I felt immediately welcomed from my first trial class and noticed professor edgar checking on each student individually during drilling. Very clean and professional place to learn some awesome self defense. Thank you Gracie Barra Valencia!

  I dropped in for a fundamentals class while visiting the area from another state. I was very impressed with the quality of instruction, the training partners and how welcoming everyone was. Professor Edgar and the team will make sure that you are doing the techniques correctly and as effectively as possible. The more intimate setting made it easier to learn compared to the bigger Dojos. I was treated with utmost respect during my visit and encouraged to return. If I was from the area I wouldn't hesitate to train at Gracie Barra Valencia.

  I joined Gracie Barra Valencia the day they opened (06/2017) and it is the best decision I have ever made. When I joined I was not in the most desirable shape and felt a bit intimidated, but Professor Robert, Coach Edgar, and Coach DK were excellent at guiding me through the process and making me feel like I was capable. 18 months later I have become the best version of myself and still continue to feel like I make improvements on a daily basis because I have Gracie Barra Valencia. I am so convinced this place is beneficial for both mind and soul that I also have both my daughters involved. They are about to complete their first year of consistent training and I also see the positive change in them. They have become more resilient and willing to deal with challenges, and there discipline level is more than I could have ever taught them on my own. Thank you, Gracie Barra Valencia.
