  I’ve watched my first two children blossom here - my stepson is a teen now and about to test for brown belt, and it has given him so much confidence and athleticism. My daughter has been going since age 4 and is now 7, and this is her only consistent activity over the years. I see the skills she has learned translating into other seasonal sports and activities, as well as increasing her ability to make friends and try new things like biking and rock climbing without fear. The private lessons have forged bonds between her and her training partners that I can tell will be lifelong. My husband and I just started training last year too and we love it! We drive over half an hour because we love this place so much. I highly recommend this place for children and adults alike.

  I was shopping at the Granary Square on McBean Parkway in Valencia, and I noticed a self-defense business. Z-Ultimate Self Defense is a great place to learn how to protect yourself. They have many different types of lessons, groups, and private. When I was visiting, there was a private lesson in progress. Pretty cool. I'm definitely thinking about taking lessons in the near future. I was told all ages take lessons every week. Check it out. It's a great place.

  I have limited mobility and was a little concerned about trying karate/self defense...but...after winning some free private sessions from Z-Ultimate in Broomfield, I decided the universe was telling me to try! Much to my surprise, Sensei John was able to accommodate my limitations, while also insuring my experience was just as valuable as any able-bodied person!! Thank you Sensei, I look forward to continued strengthening (and maybe earning belts in the future)! As far as the dojo, it is always clean and welcoming. Even the other students welcoming and friendly.

  It's always been a dream of mine to learn martial arts, but I didn't know how or when it would happen. I attended a free women's self defense class here over a year ago and knew this was the place I wanted to be. It's been an incredible journey of self-discovery and I'm so thankful for every second I get to spend in the dojo. This place really is a family. The instructors have created a close close knit community that both challenges and supports every student on their journey from white to black belt. I can't more highly recommend this place to anyone looking to learn self defense.

  My kid loves this place. Instructors are all very engaged and helpful. Not "dictators" but still able to teach respect and discipline. John is the owner and is always there....I've seen him single-handedly changes shy kids, terrified to start, frozen in the lobby into eager participants in a matter of a few minutes on many occasions. Amazing place!

  Very impressed. Z-Ultimate gives students and potential students the opportunity to make the right choice about their program without any kind of hard sell. Great studio and conveniently located in the Santa Clarita Valley. Nothing but good things to say. I truly advocate everyone to explore self-defense, especially in our contemporary social climate.

  Highly recommend this place! The instructors not only specialize in martial arts and self defense but also possess the ability to read people and determine how each individual learns best. Your lessons are tailored to your specific needs and you are taught in the manner that you learn best. The instructors also make sure that no one gets lost in the "all-level" group classes and make sure that each person is able to train at their own level while not holding back the more advanced students. Despite the emphasis on each individual, there is also a strong sense of community and all of the students are very supportive of each other. Worth every penny!!

  The z ultimate Broomfield location is the best instruction I have received in my quest for a black belt in the kempo martial arts! I am very pleased with the friendly staff, and students at this location! I would highly recommend this dojo for training in the martial arts!

  Very family-friendly place! The dojo is always clean and the instructors are energized and inspiring. I have watched my stepson blossom since starting karate here - he is much more focused and respectful at school and home, more confident in his everyday life, and is more coordinated. His training also helped him to stand up to a bully in his class last year! It's a great place to train for many reasons. I can't wait to send my daughter to Z-Ultimate when she turns 4!
