My 5-year-old daughter transferred to this dojo in December, and I have seen significant improvement in her skills and confidence. The dedication and patience that each instructor provides to every student is inspiring. As an introvert, I initially felt uneasy, but Professor Lawrence put all my fears at ease from our very first conversation. The dojo has become like a second family for my daughter and even me as a parent. Before joining, my daughter barely spoke to anyone, but within a couple of weeks, she came out of her shell, and now this place feels like her second home. The skills she has learned have positively impacted her performance at school and at home in ways I never expected. I am beyond grateful to have found this dojo.

I joined the women’s-only Jiu-Jitsu class a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve loved every second of it! It’s rare to find a gym that offers a class like this, and I’m so grateful to have found it. Professor Sabrina is incredibly respectful, patient, and kind—she takes the time to guide you through every movement and is always happy to answer questions. The women in the class are so welcoming, which made starting BJJ with zero experience much less intimidating. Seeing women of all ages training together is truly inspiring—it’s never too late to start! Couldn’t rave about this place more.

Gracie Barra North Orlando isn't just a gym to me—it's a transformative haven that has profoundly shaped and enriched my life! Under the guidance of Professor Lawrence and the dedicated team of instructors, I've experienced profound personal growth and development. The community at Gracie Barra North Orlando is nothing short of amazing. It's more than just a collection of individuals; it's a tightly-knit family where camaraderie is prevalent. I've forged deep connections, especially with the incredible women who train here, and together, we've become a formidable force both on and off the mats. The support and encouragement we offer one another extend beyond the gym walls, making it a place where growth is not just encouraged but celebrated. Professor Lawrence's passion for teaching and commitment to each student's progress is truly inspiring. The quality of Jiu-Jitsu training here is exceptional. The techniques taught are comprehensive and effective, and the emphasis on fundamentals ensures a solid foundation for practitioners of all levels. Whenever I visit other academies, I'm consistently impressed by how our instructors' expertise is recognized and respected. Gracie Barra North Orlando has become my new love, my second home. It's where I feel most alive, most challenged, and most supported. For anyone seeking not just a place to train but a community to belong to, this is undoubtedly the best choice. I'm grateful for the positive impact it has had on my life, and I can't imagine my journey without it.

Fantastic academy and instructors! I’m a visitor from St. Louis and have dropped in a couple times. They are very competent and welcoming at this location. The students are great, and I always look forward to visiting when I can make it to this facility. The mats are impeccably clean as well as the rest of the facilities. Easily my favorite GB in the Orlando area.

THE best, point blank. Having been to multiple gyms, this place is phenomenal. Professor Lawrence and the staff treat you like family and so do all other belts. If you really want to learn more about this art, this is the place to come. Thank you guys for what you teach and I'm thankful for the experience and YEARS to come.
