I can’t say enough good things about this Jiu-Jitsu location! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and supported. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging—whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced, they meet you where you’re at and help you grow. I’d love to return once my schedule allows for it. Until then, thank you for everything!!

I was welcomed in for a drop-in class as a traveling student and had a fantastic experience. The instruction was detailed and well delivered. The professors provided personal attention with excellent input to refine and correct the techniques being practiced. The other students were respectful, humble, kind, and welcoming. I look forward to returning next time I am in the area. Thank you to the professors who led classes and permitted me to join!

Very great kids program. All the teachers are very kind and know how to handle children in range of ages. My child has been here since she was 4 and has not want to quit. She is making tremendous progress. I always recommend this location to parents when I hear a child is a victim of bullying or wants to properly train for self defense.

The best place to learn Brazilian Jiujitsu. With the welcoming atmosphere as a beginner, it led me to keep coming back. The professors, coaches an fellow practitioners all make it an awesome school to learn and improve at. Unlike typical BJJ schools who only care about your monthly payment, Gracie Barra makes you earn and prove every promotion you receive. This is a school which cares about its students and their respective skill. It’s a place for all ages, would recommend to everyone.

My son has been going here for about a year and a half and I have friends who have learned here as well they have an extremely knowledgeable staff and great customer service. They have had to make adjustments due to the pandemic my son is doing no contact training, not ideal but that's our choice and we're very glad to have that option. They are super clean and serious about safety.

Last year I didn't feel myself. I didn't like my job, and has a break up witha long term girlfriend. I was working out 5 days a week I was fit. But I was missing the zest of life. I've done other martial arts prior to joining Gracie Barra. Gracie Barra is the best fraternal Brotherhood I've ever been a part of. I'm happy to be one of the guys. I felt that was after my first week. I look forward to training with my friends every day, & I'm always smiling my way class. Professor Joe, wants everyone to feel at home, and runs a professional program. I was very lucky to have him referred to me by a 10x world champion Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt. Pro Joe has developed & modified his students to be victorious at the highest level of the ever-evolving sport of BJJ. He has the entire sport in in a chokehold, & tapping like a bongo player at carnival. Professor Carlos eats a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu encyclopedia everyday for Breakfast, and can teach you perfect technique from any position. My favorite professor is Dave. Dave can see what style is best for your particular body type, and fitness level. When professor Dave drops decades of wisdom, he's easier to understand then Barney the Dinosaur. He is much younger, and leaner than that dinosaur too. BJJ is a great fun workout. It's a degree that you will carry with you your whole life. Peace of mind, and personal discipline are prices. I'm 36 years old and in the best shape of my life. I feel like Superman. I would also like to thank the Blue, and Purple belts for sharing so much of there knowledge with me. I have my elementary and preschool aged sons enrolled. The three coaches they work with, Dave and the two Carloses, do a fantastic job. Out of all the activities we have tried with these children, this is by far the one they most enjoy and has had the biggest impact on their physical fitness, self esteem and behavior. As soon as the baby is old enough, in he goes too. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough.

Best thing I've ever done! When I was considering martial arts, I had all sorts of doubts and concerns- all placed to rest by the staff. Absolute best workout and there is NO other place to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or Striking.

Do not deal with this school. They trap you into automatic payment contacts and then give you the run around when trying to cancel. Requiring two months notice to cancel and multiple trips in person. Even after that...they still charge your card. All of these membership practices are illegal in NYS. Stay away
