I look forward to coming to class every day! Kaio and Babi do an amazing job of helping all of their students learn and grow both on and off the mats. They encourage us to perform the best we can in every single class while fostering community and events outside the gym. The teachings at this gym have become a staple in my every day life for being consistently challenging, exciting, physically rewarding, and a fun time in general. Can not recommend enough.

Kaio and Babi are two great BJJ instructors no matter your level. Practiced with them at the Encinitas studio, and now will drop into the Carlsbad location when class times work better with a busy schedule. Wonderful gym & couldn't recommend enough. If you are on the fence, come in and try it!

Professor Kaio and Coach Bárbara are amazing Jiu-Jitsu instructors. They really know how to teach — super technical, patient, and always motivating. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat their students and run their classes. The vibe at the academy is awesome. It's a welcoming space for everyone, whether you're just starting out or have been training for years. The classes are well-structured, the environment is friendly, and there's a real sense of teamwork. Definitely a great place to train and grow in Jiu-Jitsu.

We love this gym. My husband and our sons go here. It’s a brand new space and it’s kept very clean. Professor Kaio & Barbara are very professional and great with kids. They make jujitsu fun and instill work ethic and discipline in our kids. Our 3 boys have gained so much confidence through jujitsu and have made friends along the way.

Amazing new gym. My daughter has been training with Professor Kaio and coach Barbara since she was 3. Although we live in Encinitas, my daughter wants to visit all the time. They are amazing instructors, wonderful with kids and good role models.
