ABSOLUTELY the best decision to have my son(9yo) and daughter(11yo) join GB Corona. It’s been over 3 years now and the growth in both physical and mental strength has been amazing to see. It’s all due to the amazing professors (Saul/Andy) and coaches (Christian/Emi/Chris) at GB Corona that makes it a fun learning environment for the kids. They do an amazing job!

I’ve had an amazing life changing experience training at Gracie Barra BJJ. Professor Andy always takes the time to help and be a great leader. The coaches and professors teach with great patience and have always been dedicated to make sure the students have a great experience in the classes and take their time to really make sure we’re understanding our lessons. This is a great family environment and you really feel like you’re a part of a family. It’s been a life changing journey so far.

I can’t say enough good about this place. The coaches are incredible. Everything you’d want in a kids coach. Patient, supportive, encouraging, funny and exciting, yet they discipline with the best kind of tough love. This review is long overdue as we’ve been in jui jitsu here for about a year and a half. We tried another jui jitsu place before coming here, and I was really taken aback. I didn’t think we’d pursue jui jitsu at all because of how unsafe the kids were playing with each other. I decided to do some more searching and came across Gracie Barra, and I’m so thankful we decided to give it another go. Though we’re not pursuing it competitively, I love that my son is gaining self confidence and learning self defense in a safe environment. I can’t say enough about Coach Christian who is just incredible at what he does. He’s the definition of the perfect coach! Professor Andy is amazing as well and it shows how much their dedication to BJJ reflects in the atmosphere here.

My daughter has been enrolled for almost a year and it's been such an exceptional experience. The staff here is top notch. Coach Christian is one of the best coaches I have ever experienced in any sport. He truly cares for your kid, he takes the time to actually know them and their little personalities, he also says such lovely motivational words to your kid when they are feeling down, but he also has this way of pushing your kid past their limit and it's such a rewarding thing to witness. Professor Andy is another staff member whom my family has become close to! He runs a clean, well managed, welcoming, and motivating gym. Professor Andy has known my name, my husband's, and both my kids names since day 1. Which makes me feel so welcomed. This gym is one of the best investments you can put into your child or self. I highly recommend to anyone, you will not regret it.

My 15 year old daughter has attended the facility for a few years and the professors are great. I want to single out Professor Tom. He has an instinct to make her day. Today, she didn’t feel like training and was the only female at the training session. He always works the mat to provide one on one coaching with the students. Tonight, as with the few nights she has not vibes, he found her motivation and got her going. He knows how to positively push the students buttons - and when to push them. As I write this post, she just got knocked to the ground, used a few holds and moves which , allowed her overcame her opponent. He yelled out a big YES! And she is smiling from ear to ear! If you are looking for a serious, knowledgeable, form detail oriented, disciplined and caring professors/coaches…this is the place you want. Finally, while they train hard they also have fun with lots of smiles in between.

We decided to give this place a try based on a recommendation. Two plus years later, the whole family is enrolled. You bet we'll be enrolling the baby as early as possible. All the coaches and professors are intelligent and experienced. The Program Director, Coach Andy, is top notch professional. Highly recommend!

My nine year old daughter just started here a few weeks ago and we/she loves it! The coaches and staff have been so welcoming and supportive. The community of parents and kids are so kind and welcoming. Beyond that the philosophy of respect, discipline and hard work is so good for her and for us all. So happy we found this home. Brought my boys because they were being bullied at school and to say it’s helped is a understatement . Shoulda signed them up long ago . My 5 year old is a very crazy kid and they are very patient and understanding with him … when I get more money I’m gonna sign myself up and the rest of my family ahaha …

I wanted to lose weight and get fit but did not want to join any regular gyms. Wanted something that would teach me how to defend myself and get a good workout at the same time. A friend told me about Jiu-Jitsu so went to many different Jiu-Jitsu schools for tried out and they are all good. But I was looking for the schedules that will fit my schedule as well as how they teach the class. After weeks of looking, unable to find any school that I like, a friend told me about Gracie Barra in Corona, so I went in and did the try-out. I love it! I joined Gracie Barra in Corona that day. The coach and the professor there are so welcoming and they go around checking on all the students as we are practicing to be sure that our forms are correct or if we have any question. They are really encouraging even when you think you can't do it. They also have a nice variety of schedules classes that I can go to that fit my schedule. The monthly cost to join are better than some or same as many other jujitsu School. It has been 2 months since I joined and I have learn so much on how to defend myself and how to get out of unwanted situation. I still have a lot more to learn and I am look forward on learning more new technique and skill on self defense. Check out Gracie Barra in Corona, you will not be disappointed.

We really really love this facility! From the first day all the coaches and staff greeted us with our names and a welcoming smile! They are so gentle in teaching our 6 & 8 yr olds. As an added plus they teach a word of the week and really focus on a family environment. They offer parent nights out too! The kids literally run inside and get excited to train!

This place is pretty much a community that looks out for each other and builds each other up. All of the teachers/professors are very competent, down to earth and nice. There’s never any shaming and the people here help you out and encourage your growth, even the students. I’m very glad that this is the first place I came to for jiu jitsu. It’s a comforting environment and I consider the people I train with here to be good friends.

I'm from AZ and stopped in for a class here while out of town. These guys are awesome! Very welcoming. The class was amazing, the coaches and professors were awesome as were all the training partners. The place was clean and well kept. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town. OSS! 🔺

We have all 3 children at this location. The coaches are professional and patient. The location is kept clean and it’s easy to watch my children during their sessions. They have several coaches per class to reinforce that lessons are learned. The format is perfect, warm up, practical lesson, lecture, memorization followed up by a deep-dive sparring lesson. Overall, My husband and I are very impressed.

Went in there today just to get some info. Kendall was super chill, actually took time to explain to me in detail about how things worked. You could tell she loved what she does. Did not try to sell me on anything, felt more like she just wanted to make sure she gave me all the information I was looking for. Glad I walked in, I have not even had one session yet but already know I found my new spot for getting back into training. What was super cool to was everyone who was coming in at that time, parents and kids just seemed super happy to be there. I could tell right away that these people were passionate about what they do and were damn good at it. Thanks for being far above what I expected. Now this is exactly what I was looking for.

I train mainly in Riverside but I love going to Corona on the weekends! Coach Saul and Coach Kendall are great instructors and they really pay attention to the details of the moves.

I went to a lot of jiu jitsu schools and I'm glad I chose the Corona Gracie Barra school. Coaches Saul, Kendall, Jerry, Jay and Alvin are all great teachers that push the students to learn and succeed in Jiu Jitsu. In the year my daughter has attended Gracie Barra she went from being nervous to spar and compete to winning medals and learning to be a confident young women. The instructors are serious but keep it fun to hold the kids attention. And this school has a great group kids and parents that all help to foster a feeling of a big family environment. We have been attending Gracie Barra Corona for 4 years. My boys, husband, and I trained there (boys still do). The Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai instructors are amazing. My kids adore the instructors. This place is more then a place to train it is a family.

This is my first martial arts training and I am very impressed in how welcoming every one is, from the newest student to the highest instructor. Professor Tom is very experienced, skilled and a great instructor. They are LE friendly for those serving. Gracie Barra has many dojos world wide and as a member you can attend any of them at no additional charge. They also offer additional classes to include Muay Thai which is taught by a great instructor. This is a great place for all to train including kids, adults, men or women
