Great Gym. I visited on Saturday for the fundamentals class and open mat. Nick is a fantastic coach, very knowledgable and gave great instruction. The mat space is really nice. The guys were a pleasure to roll with. The coffee they serve is also very good. I'll certainly be back any time I visit Gorey in the future.
Called into a class last night and had a great time. Really solid level on the mats of all different belts, super welcoming environment and great training. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
We love this judo place! I drive over an hour just to bring my daughter, and it’s 100% worth it because she’s always excited to go. Coach Sean is amazing — so patient, always positive, and constantly teaching while keeping it fun. The games are a big hit too! Highly recommend 🩷 🥋
Spotlessly clean and well equiped club with a high level of instructors and skills
Gorey Grappling Academy give it a go honestly it will be the best thing you ever do, age ability etc.. it doesn't matter anyone can learn and everyone will learn, such a good fun environment to be in and having a family of 6 attending it not one of us ever moan about having to go to learn jiu-jitsu/judo we actually really look forward to training. Coaches are amazing and so are your training partners ❤️
Sean is the best martial arts coach I've ever seen. Behind every game/exercise stand some fundamental skills that need to be learned. The atmosphere is always positive, supportive, and encouraging, which helps everyone grow. Well done!
Gorey Grappling Academy is a home away from home. Such a positive, friendly atmosphere! So much more than a gym, with amazing instructors to learn from who are beyond talented in their field of jiu-jitsu, judo and martial arts. They really have your best interests at heart and help you to become a more confident person, both on the mats and off. I would highly recommend to new comers, great way to get fit, meet new people and have a laugh! I would also recommend to athletes looking to compete. The gym has advanced classes with like minded athletes supporting each other to be the best that they can be and the results show! 10/10 would recommend to a friend ✨️
