Dropped in to the 6am class while on vacation in the area. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The instruction section was good and the rolls were tough. I learned a lot and got a great workout in. I'll definitely drop in again next time I am in town.

I started at GOLD COUNTRY JIU JITSU a little over a year ago! It was the Best decision I ever made... I was just a drop-in. Every. Single. Person. was extremely welcoming. Tons of skill. Very well kept facility. I wish I lived closer because I would love to be a member here.

I started coming here recently as a total nervous beginner, and was immediately embraced. You seriously could not ask for a friendlier, more welcoming environment. Each small progression you make is incredibly valuable, and while it's definitely a challenge, it is very mentally and physically invigorating. Q is an excellent instructor, and every student here is awesome. I urge everyone to at least give Brazilian jiu-jitsu a shot, and if you're in the area, there's no better place to do so than here!

High level instruction at a more than fair price! Q is a excellent teacher and mentor to all his students. Class everyday of the week but sunday, tons of training partners of varying weights and skill levels. Take advantage of a free class you wont regret it!

I started my jiu-jitsu journey through professor Q three years ago. I weighed 225 pounds and lost 65 pounds in less than a year. jiu jitsu saved my life so blessed to have run into Q. Love the family feel of the gym and all of the comerrodary best gym i have been to. Thank you Q and all my brothers and sister's.

Can't beat the supportive and positive community here! Best jujitsu place in town. Q is so patient, encouraging & knowledgable. For kids, adults, & even women-this is a place you will be welcomed in as family. My son has aspergers and jiujitsu has been the best sensory/OT for him. And he has never been treated any different by any person at this gym. We have been in several other jiujitsu places in Rocklin/Roseville and never have we been welcomed so greatly!

Amazing place! I am one of the newest members at Gold Country. I started in my late 30's with zero experience. And was embraced immediately. Everyone is helpful and supportive and this is a really great group of talented people. Q is an excellent teacher! Jiu-jitsu ends up affecting every other part of your life in amazing ways. I recommend Gold Country Jiu Jitsu to anyone looking to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Whether you are experienced or brand new to the art, their community will be welcoming. The instruction is second to none, the owner has a strong BJJ lineage and is an excellent teacher. If you're in Auburn or the surrounding area, come check it out.
