Like everyone ever probably I was mildly hesitant to start up without a for sure partner, but the members and coaches welcome you like you’ve been coming forever. Coaching is clear and concise and even starting with no previous martial arts experience after a few days I started to feel more comfortable. 100% recommend trying it if you’ve been waiting, it says it on the door but I wish I had started sooner.

I travel to Ft Worth once a month for work and always drop in to train with Professor Eric. His instruction is always thorough and very detailed. Sparring at the end is always great as well. Highly recommend this gym.

Cannot recommend this place enough! Coaches are welcoming, knowledgeable, and eager to teach. Very affordable pricing and well worth it! Great environment with a great crowd of people from all skill levels. If you are a beginner like me, there are tons of people who love to teach. If you are more advanced, there are lots of higher belts to train with as well. Best gym in Fort Worth!
My son has been having a rough time at school so he wanted to try out jujitsu. We decided to sign up for three times a week and he has gone about 5 times so far and he really likes it. All of the coaches are amazing and are very good at explaining everything and taking care of each kid to make sure they have the proper form down. Parking- easy, lots of space, it’s right next to a family dollar and subway. Pricing- very affordable and reasonable Environment- It feels like a family and I am very grateful to have found Genesis!

The absolute best place to train. Can't imagine my daughter and I training anywhere else. It has truly given my daughter more confidence and a better outlook on life. This wonderful place has changed both of our lives.
Great place to train. My kiddo got to go 1 day out of the 7 day trial due to my work schedule. Lots of coaches and they are strickt but are also caring. They have active military discoubts but nothing for vets unfortunatly.
I stopped by to do a drop in class because I have a family member that goes there. The coaches were super cool and friendly. I expected it to be a no gi class so I didn't bring my gi, they ended up letting me borrow a loaner gi top which was super cool of them. Aside from all the, very high level bjj , highly recommend, I'll be dropping in again.
Genesis is amazing. Everyone is friendly and helpful, especially with newbies! Couldn't be happier with this gym. It feels like home!

Great rolls and hospitality! I dropped into a class taught by Dillon and it was a solid class with great technique. I fully plan on coming back next time I’m in the Fort Worth area.

My son has trained here for 7 years. Albert and his coaches are very welcoming. I’ve talked to out of towners who stop in… they all tell me how great this gym is, not just the skill level but the people are all humble and helpful. I feel confident my son can handle himself if he ever needs to thanks to the skills he’s learned here.
Great place to train for kids and adult's, the staff is pretty awesome, they let you try their classes without any commitment. If you like it and would like to join, its the easiest thing to do with out all extra fees and its a month to month, so for some reason you cant make it the following month there is no problem.

This school is legit. Very knowledgeable instructors, offers numerous classes, friendly staff, classes 7 days a week, wrestling classes with top notch coaches, I’m all in.

This is an awesome gym. The Team is straight up about pricing, check out the website. I've experienced NoGi training sessions, so fare, but this gym does offer Gis and rash-guards for purchase. The coaches are great and the people have been awesome as training partners and are very welcoming. Coach Sam got me all set up for my trial week and gave me some advice on what was needed to train. Coach Randy is awesome, great at instructing as well as managing the training session. The Gym is well maintained, there are deals for family's to join. After attending 1 trial class I was hooked. I highly recommend this Gym!
A Great Experience! Friendly and Professional. Kickboxing dove right into drills and the entire class filed into line. Next we don gear and pair up to learn and practice combos. Coach is excellent at demo and explanation and students practice with professionalism. I look forward to starting Jujitsu classes too.

Great community and atmosphere that promotes improving not just your abilities but your whole life. I've never struggled with my weight but I've met more than a hand full of people who have lost 100 lbs doing jiu jitsu/kickboxing.
Both of my kids have so much fun here. Thanks to all the coaches that help my son. If it were up to him, he would go everyday!

I dropped in to roll here while in Fort Worth for business. Bert welcomed me to visit the 6AM class on a Friday. Huge amount of mat space and lots of windows. We worked for a half hour on the single leg takedown before open rolling began. Every round with someone different showed the wealth of experience they have here. Great family environment and felt so welcomed. The guys were absolute beasts but were totally safe. Totally recommend this gym! Thanks,

Moved for work 3 different states and four cities over 4 years Genesis was the best by far for my son who started at 5 years old.
I’m absolutely impressed with Genesis. Coach Bert has cultivated such an awesome gym. The moment you walk in you feel welcomed and part of the team. The community is second to none, it definitely has a family vibe. I’ve been blown away with the coaches and classes. The lessons are thorough and thought out. The coaches are intentional and patient. I’m so happy and humbled to find such an awesome place to train. There are many great gyms to train at in DFW. Genesis is definitely one of the best. If you are looking to try Jiu Jitsu for the first time or a seasoned upper belt I could not recommend Genesis more. Come train with us!

It doesn't matter what class you go to...all the instructors at Genesis are skilled practitioners, top notch athletes, and genuinely good people to back it up. They treat everyone with open arms no matter if its their day one or day three thousand. Best place to get into great shape and have fun at the same time. I only have one problem: I signed up about 10 yrs too late.
Genesis Burleson is amazing! Coach Randy, Samm, Bj, and Brandon are so welcoming and are very thorough in demonstrating fundamentals. I am so happy to be a part of the G family! Also those not attending womens classes Mondays and Wednesdays with Coach Samm are missing out! She is amazing 😻
Coach Randy and Coach Sam are amazing, they're great with the kids during the homeschool kids classes and my boys wake up early and ready to go on jujitsu class days.
Great personnel, all coaches are patience, kind and take teaching seriously and that make the experience perfect. Lady from front desk is a really nice person with a contagious smile and personnality. I am more than happy to have my son in here.
I grew up in striking arts and competed in my teens and 20s but had never worked my ground game. At 57 I figured it was time to change that so I enrolled with Genesis Jiu Jitsu in Burleson. The location is convenient, they have a wide variety of class times and most important the quality of instruction. Professors Randy, Sam and BJ along with Coach P and Coach Chris invest themselves into their students. They want to see you progress and succeed in your Jiu Jitsu journey.
For first timers to Jitsu we really enjoy taking the kids out and they are the best coach’s. With lots of patience for each and every kiddo. We really love it.
My 3 boys and I all train here, and everyone from the coaches to Annie in the office, and the owner Albert are great people and they make you feel right at home. Little kids can easily be turned off by a sport if they have bad coaches or just a bad experience. My kids have had such a great experience at genesis, I believe they will be jiu jitsu students and practitioners for life.
Great instructors, and welcoming atmosphere. Levels ranging from beginner all the way up to competition level (bjj, wrestling, MT, mma) with coaching to meet you right where you’re at! Also, solid amount of ladies train here from beginner to advanced which has been great for my wife and I!

I was only able to stay for the free week long trial, however during the week I went to kickboxing class a couple times and even tried out the Jiu Jitsu class. Even with no prior experience in Jiu Jitsu I was still able to go right into the lesson that was being taught, and the coaches/instructors made it easy to understand the movements. Would definitely go again.

I love to call this place home. Training here is the peak of my day. I knew I was in the right place when I went home and was practicing the arm lock on my pillow before bed. (He tapped out by the way.) shoutout to great coaches and the upper level belts who have taken time to help teach.

What an amazing environment to train! Awesome fighters, great people and an inclusive attitude. I'm only in the area short term so I paid for a month and it was absolutely 💯 percent worth it. The black belt instructors are professional and knowledgeable but best of all they are humble and human. Will absolutely train here again when I'm in the area.
its fun and gets you active the coaches and staff or the best they go through it and understand if you cant and they encourage you and it gets you fit and you can learn self deffence if you have bullies also they dont make the classes just exersice and work if your a little kid one of the coaches will pick you up to be funny but then let you do your moves if i could give this place 10 stars i would go check the place out and there are diffrent days for class i pearsonly do either thursday or friday

This is a amazing group of caring people who are there for kids from all walks of life. The joy that they show while working with kids is beyond amazing. The help that they give with kids who need a little extra is beyond belief. My daughter walked into this facility in River oaks and was greeted with love and caring.
This school is awesome. Both my daughter attend and the coaches are great at teaching the little ones the basics of Jiu Jitsu.

I wondered into Genesis jiu jitsu shortly after their opening after spending almost five years training at various gyms around Dfw and it is in my opinion the best around! I chose to leave a gym with a black belt instructor to train here because I feel that both Albert and Tony(brown belts at the time I started with them) where only interested in becoming the best competitors and coaches by staying up to date on the latest jiu jitsu techniques and never keeping anything from you as a student! I was a brown belt when I started with them and I will eventually receive my black belt from these two world class gentleman.

Here is the worst instructor I have ever met in my life. I met him at Genesis Juijuitsi. I am talking about the instructor who teaches classes to small children. My 4 year old son was very excited to go to Juijuitsi and just because my son did not follow the instruction to run in a circle but ran straight, he grabbed him and pulled him out and said that my son could not go back. My son was crying. I felt very helpless. I do not recommend that place. I would never go back. I recommend Brazilian Juijuitsi (Gracie Barra) 2700 Settlement Road Fort Worth. It is a very nice, cozy place with excellent teachers who are very patient with small children. It is excellent.

Training went well, however I’ve never felt so unwelcomed. I’ve been training for a while, have trained at multiple gyms and even worked at one. So, I’d say I have a great understanding of what to expect. Disappointed to say the least.
Terrible people, won't protect their students, stay away.
