My family and I have been going to Gemina for the last six years. The owners have changed but the culture has not. It is still the same family-oriented, welcoming club it has always been. Our kids love it. They look forward to class and have improved a huge amount in both skill and confidence. The instruction is second to none. When Peaches coaches, it feels like being in a seminar, clear, detailed, and always at a high level. The other coaches hold the same standard. The kids learn respect, focus, and how to carry themselves both on and off the mats. If you want top notch jiu jitsu with a genuine family feel, this is the place. Highly recommend.
If you've been thinking about giving BJJ a go (or if you're experienced already) I'd highly recommend Gemina. Great culture-welcoming of any skill level, kids to adults and men and women. The heart and soul of a place like this has to be the head coach and Peaches is built for this role. Whether you just want to stay active and learn something new, or if you want to get serious about competition, he makes it a pleasure to train.
