honestly cannot recommend this martial arts club enough. Both of my children have been attending, and the positive impact it has had on them has been incredible. My son has been training here since he was 3 years old, and we have no intention of stopping. As a SEN mum, finding a place where your child is truly understood, accepted, and supported is priceless. The patience, kindness, and understanding shown by Sarah and the whole team have meant so much to our family. Sarah is always willing to listen, offer advice, and provide emotional support whenever it’s needed. She genuinely cares about every child and every family, and that makes such a difference. Since joining, my son has developed not only his martial arts skills but also his confidence, discipline, focus, and resilience. Seeing his progress over the years has been amazing, and I know a big part of that is thanks to the encouragement and belief the instructors have shown him. My daughter was very shy and lacked confidence when she first started. With Sarah’s support, patience, and encouragement, she has really come out of her shell. She is much more confident now, enjoys taking part, and looks forward to every session. This club is so much more than a martial arts school—it is a caring, supportive community where every child is encouraged to succeed at their own pace. Both my grandsons have been attending FSMA for years and have learned a lot. Everybody ive ever met have been warm and welcoming and do their very best for everyone that walks through the door. They have run competitions and christmas days out and everyone is welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone young or old.
I have been to many Martial Arts Clubs over the years and this is by far the very best one. FSMA is more like a family then a club. They have made my confidence grow massively and they deeply truly care about there pupils, club and each other. Sarah and Aaron have put there heart and soul into there club and they are very kind, caring people that want the best for all of there students. I have been part of fsma now for a good few years now it started with my 2 children my son got to black tag he did leave but that was nothing to do with the school or the instructors he wanted to do something different my daughter has made it to black belt after a slow start with her she didnt join in straight away she was low on confidence and shy but the Aaron and Sarah never once forced her to join in they just left her at the side and she did eventually join in and she never looked back I couldn't be any prouder if how far she has come and that is down to Aaron and Sarah''s patience and perseverance. I enjoyed watching my kids that when they opened adult classes I joined no hesitation and that patience and perseverance has extended to the adults Taekwondo and ladies kickboxing. They havent just got a martial arts school they have got a whole family.
FSMA is the best martial arts school around. From the moment you join, you’re made to feel like part of a family. The instructors are supportive, professional, and genuinely care about every student’s progress, both in martial arts and in building confidence and discipline. My children have been attending for over 10 years, and it has been an amazing experience for them. They have learned so much, made great friends, and always enjoy their classes. I would highly recommend FSMA to anyone looking for a welcoming, encouraging, and high-quality martial arts club.
My son's been training here for 7 years. I have always found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a good community spirit amongst the members, their families and staff. FSMA have been a huge influence on my son's personal development over the years. Not only has he become a black belt, he is more confident in himself and his abilities, is more disciplined with his approach to life and more respectful and mindful of those around him. None of this would have occurred if is wasn't for the excellent tutoring, encouragement and dedication of the FSMA staff. Massive thank you to FSMA

Posted 2 years agoThe instructors are great, friendly, fantastic with the kids. They bring out the best in my kids. Both my children have been training with them for ten years and I have never considered taking them anywhere else.
