Mel is the head coach and owner of Fight Ministry Hull. Mel has fought in MMA, Boxing and Kickboxing and is a Wold Kick Jiu-Jitsu Champion. Qualifications: 40+ Years Martial Arts Experience; 35+ Years Competition & Coaching Experience; Black Belt Traditional Ju-Jitsu; Purple Belt Brazilian Jiu-jitsu; Enhanced DBS; Safeguard; First Aid; WAKO insured.
Ash has competed in many competitions around the country and trained all over the world, mainly in Australia and Germany. He has placed in lots of BJJ and Submission Grappling competitions around the UK holding multiple Silver & Bronze medals to his name. Qualifications: 18+ Years Martial Arts Experience; 15+ Years Competition & Coaching Experience; Level 1 Strength & Conditioning; Black Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; Enhanced DBS Checked; Safeguarding Trained; First Aid Trained; WAKO GB Insured.
Paul holds many titles including ISKA K1 British title, ISKA K1 English title, ICO K1 Area title & HBC Regional Boxing title, and fought in Pro K1 Kickboxing rules. Paul has also won Silver & Bronze medals at World Kickboxing championships representing England, and Gold & Silver medals in BJJ / Grappling tournaments. Qualifications include 18+ Years Martial Arts Experience; 16+ Years Competition & Coaching Experience; Level 3 Sports Coach; Level 3 Personal Trainer; Level 3 Sports Therapist; Level 3 Sports Science; Level 3 Diet & Nutrition; Level 2 Gym & Fitness; Level 2 Mental Health; Black Belt Kickboxing; Brown Belt Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Amazing place. The best place, not only in Hull, but in Yorkshire, for learning MMA. My son used to go here 12 years ago, and we still sometimes talk about how great the team was, specially Mel as the coach. I wonder if Mel is still there.

Great community of people, super friendly and encouraging, with a wealth of knowledge to learn from in both striking and grappling. Really affordable, hygiene of facilities is always a top priority, and unlimited sessions across disciplines for one monthly payment.
