I trained here two times (Strength essentials class) during my stay in Singapore. I felt very welcome and was provided a good training program that could be scaled for my abilities. They provide you of positive feedback and tips for a good form. Thank you Field Assembly!

Did strength essentials class. Instructor was fantastic. He checked for any injuries and chose a program to suit my level and was very attentive to make sure my form was correct. Highly recommend!

Came for the kids trial with my 8yo and he absolutely had a blast! Following the footsteps of his now 13yo elder brother that also attended for over a year when he was around the same age. Kudos to the coaches!

I trained in Field Assembly Clarke Quay twice during a recent trip to Singapore. The location is very convenient and easy to find right at the center of the city. The facility is best-in-class --- high quality mats and wall protection for safety; the dressing and shower areas are orderly and very clean; AC just at the right temperature to allow for proper training. The first session I have attended was taught by Coach Cris - as a fellow small guy jiujiteiro like myself, I enjoyed his emphasis on using leverage and proper body placement in executing techniques rather than the use of power. The class was followed by a sparring session - I enjoyed that a culture of keeping safe and reliance on technique rather than a culture of spazzing out on each other. The second session, I was invited to a private group of coaches where we did no gi. The coaches are high level and very technical - not only were the sparring sessions very good; but the generosity of sharing knowledge was prevalent. I highly recommend this gym for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike and I would definitely come back.

There were coaches who sometimes present black face due to whatever reasons like maybe not feeling well or overcrowding space, maybe the customer’s image doesn’t vibe with FA customers demographic or more acquainted with the trainer enough? I have personally witnessed a new customer getting a sort of impatient attitude when he was seeking advice for squat. Sometimes you can even see the coach chatting away with customers while there are people waiting for the coach to see them. You can’t expect people to go from 1 end to another just to get attention from the coach, the coach should be attentive enough! This is a waste of session time. Sometimes you can stay behind after class to do some accessory workout but sometimes you can’t but for this I fully understand and come to terms with it since it’s due to gym space availability. Interesting enough though , you see some people who are able to take more rest time in between sets or hang around in the gym for a long time without getting rushed/chased away by the coach. Getting kinda selective? For $200-$240 per month price point, I don’t expect 100% attention but I expect more professionalism and ability/right attitude to cope with a large class and different kinds of customer. That’s why I don’t think it’s worth to pay such a high fee monthly to get bad experience “sometimes”. I love the vibes of the gym but personally overall I feel that I have wasted a lot of money and time on travel considering how far I am staying. It’s most probably good for HIIT and martial arts lessons but weight lifting class? Not recommended for now imo. Shoutout to Euse being the only one who displayed true patience and commitment to ensure the customer get the best out of every session despite the overcrowding class and no matter who you are.
