My boy first started FMA South Liverpool in 2025 at 4 years old in Ninja Cubs. He loved it from the start, but he struggled with following instructions, focus and concentration. Since then he has learned so much and his behaviour improved! All staff are welcoming, friendly, patient and explain well what's expected from children. We got so much support when he was struggling with behaviour or with learning new skill! Now we moved onto little leaders and he is still loving it as much and gets excited when it's time to go :) I would highly recommend them!

My son has been going to FMA for just over 2 years and absolutely loves it. Laura and her team are brilliant, kind and patient with everyone. He has developed not just marshal arts skills but the classes have improved his confidence, resilience, ability to take turns and make friends which as a neurodivergent child is a huge achievement. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about taking their kids along

My daughter is 7 year old and has been part of FMA since few months and loves every bit of it. She looks forward to going to classes and it also helps in character building and is confidence boosting. Would definitely recommend FMA if you are looking for martial arts for you and your family...

My two daughters train at Family Martial Arts and have been there for 5 years or so....and they love it. One is a black belt and the other is just one belt away. They both can't wait to get to class and they have developed not only martial arts skills but so much more....confidence, resilience, focus and determination. The trainers are fantastic and the encouragement from the whole FMA family is brilliant. My daughters have made great friends and they are genuinely a lovely bunch of people. Can't recommend FMA enough !

My 7 year old child started at Family Martial Arts earlier this year, she suffers badly with anxiety and usually gives up on everything as soon as she makes a mistake. She was ready to give up on Martial Arts after the first couple of lessons but Laura refused to let her give up and offered her a private lesson which helped her massively. The other children in her beginners class have also been fantastic, she has made friends and is gaining confidence every week which is also helping her in school. I would thoroughly recommend Family Martial Arts not just for self defence but also for building confidence, helping with anxiety and making friends

What a great place this is. Not just for kids but all the family to get involved. Laura and the team are very professional at what they do and couldn't recommend this place enough. The difference in my kids after joining here 3 months ago is amazing . This place dosent just teach martial arts it creates bonds amongst familys plus a lot of other great things. Get joined up . You wont be disappointed.

FMA South Liverpool is a brilliant club. Laura and the team have always been friendly and welcoming, whilst delivering high quality instruction, building skills, discipline and confidence. The fitness work and self defence elements are excellent. The flexibility in class times means we can regularly attend each week even when other things crop up. We really enjoy the classes and being part of it all- I highly recommend giving it a go!

My husband, children and I attend MMA classes since the beginning of this year. It started as a casual after-school activity club through my children's school, and after their first grading we all became addicted! The instructors are amazing, and really supportive. An excellent family activity, at a great environment which I couldn't recommend more! Keep up the great work Laura and Team!

Laura and her colleagues have been amazing to our son ever since he started practicing FMA. It s not only training but a how they give confidence and support to kids and young adults and skills for life. She is more than supportive to them. It s not only body but mentality, attitude and discipline. Thank you all for being part of our kids lives
