This is it. You can stop looking. This is the gym you are trying to find. You can't beat the schedule. They have morning, afternoon, and evening classes. Every. Single. Day. They are basically ALWAYS open. Which is unique for a Jiu Jitsu gym and incredibly important to me. Between family and work, it's hard to find free time. Having so many class options has been huge in allowing me to come train. I love how Ricardo hammers on the fundamentals. It's not just a different move of the day each class. He'll choose something and build off of it over the course of several weeks. When in class, the warm ups, drills, and lesson are all related to whatever he is teaching that week. He's also clearly passionate about Jiu Jitsu. And that will do nothing but benefit his students. They are a little hard to find. They are located inside the Swim Kids building. Just walk all the way into Swim kids until you hit their front desk. Then turn right and keep walking. You should see the Estavel sign. Oss!

What a gem! Ricardo opened the gym less than 2 months ago. If you are interested in getting top level BJJ training, get into this place. I have had a chance to practice BJJ in gyms all over the world for the last 20 years. Estavel reminds me of old school, fundamental, progressive BJJ. Ricardo focuses on repetitive drills, and simple class sessions that slowly focus on technique and application. Having a world class BJJ practitioner in their prime is like having an NFL quarterback teach you to pass a football, it is a rare opportunity. He is focused on training quality, effective, no corner cut BJJ. Get in and try a class. Oss!!!
