Came across this BJJ gym coming from Canada and have really enjoyed my time here. The instructors are very knowledgeable and keep up to date on modern BJJ, and they go out of the way to help the class due to the manageable class sizes. The community is very friendly and welcoming to all skill levels from beginners to pro sessions. Highly recommended to drop by and check it out.

Have been training here for the last year. The training is awesome. Jake has helped me a lot for competition. The team is great and was very welcoming when I was new. Lots of other women to train with and the guys all know how to train with females so that everyone gets something out of the roll.

Essence BJJ is hands down one of the best gyms for BJJ in Perth !! Essence has a welcoming and friendly environment with amazing coaches that have a wealth of knowledge.

Awesome jiu jitsu gym Jake is always bring high level coaching and jiu jitsu. Highly recommend to anyone in Perth wanting to improve or looking for a place to train.
