I don’t know where to start, but the layout of the new gym looks amazing! It has great visuals and a spacious environment. It’s perfect for teaching both BJJ and Muay Thai classes without needing cones to separate the two. Coaching: Abdoul Wafar and Abdou Haddad are excellent coaches and experienced fighters. I really appreciate how they combine technical Dutch-style drills with high-intensity training. Francois is also friendly and sets the standard for Muay Thai training in Calgary. He ensures you push yourself to your limits, whether you’re a beginner or experienced. Atmosphere: Evening classes are usually packed, which makes training feel energetic and more immersive. The regulars I interact with are fun to be around and contribute to a great gym culture. I’m also really looking forward to training BJJ at Elite.

Recently started Muay Thai training at Elite on Flint Rd and the only wish that I have is that I had started earlier! The staff are super friendly and encouraging, but highly knowledgeable and clearly experts. The faculty is clean and spacious, with all the gear available for first timers. If you’re feeling intimidated, don’t be!! The classmates are all supportive. You will get a great workout without any judgement and leave with your head held high. Just go for it👍

Such an amazing gym! The most friendly people you'll meet. You'll feel really welcome as soon as you walk in. I used to go to this gym back when they only had one location and Francois and Betty have worked so hard to open up their third location now. So 10 years later with their third location, I'm back to doing Muay Thai and it's like I've never left! The workout is really challenging but I feel amazing afterwards and everyone is really encouraging and pushes you to do your best but I never feel pressured to go too hard. I would recommend to anyone to check them out! The price is so reasonable and the equipment is top notch. They care about their members and they're the real deal with elite (cough cough excuse the pun) fighters professionally fighting. Classes are not too big either which is nice! I feel like I can get one on one time with the instructor when I have questions or need pointers. Check them out! Even just for a class or two because you won't regret it.
