  This is a clean, safe, and well-run gym. Coach Brian and the other coaches are nice people that make it fun to train. The level of instruction is also quite high, as the gym is run by a a top-class BJJ blackbelt instructor. I enjoy the gym as an adult and I also plan to bring my children to the kids classes when they are old enough. Overall, I feel lucky to have this gym so close in Indiana.

  ECS is a the best place in the Indiana area to get healthy while enjoying the process. Coach Brian & Coach Paul run a top of the line facility. They both are able to provide detailed instruction while keeping the classes entertaining and engaging for everyone. They have classes for kids & adults, it's fun for the whole family!

  Coach Brian and coach Paul are very good with kids and their variety of skill levels, teaching them jujitsu as well as life skills. Our daughter has 2 months experience and I’ve already noticed a difference in her self defense and even discipline at home. Great program and great for the community!

  Definitely the best MMA gym I’ve ever been to. The coaches are fantastic and offer a huge variety of techniques to learn. Whether it’s to fight professionally, defend yourself, or just let off some steam, this is the best place in Indiana to do it for sure.

  We took our 3 year 9 month old child there for the first time today with their permission. He was super excited to go until he got there and became shy. Paul who was teaching the class was nothing but a class act and great guy. He encouraged my son to participate or to just watch until he was comfortable. Brian, the other owner, passed him several times while he was not willing to go and join the other kids and never paid any attention to him. He did step up to intervene after my son had to go to the bathroom and I took him without sandals. I never let my son step on the floor as I had carried him. As a first time guest we had no idea of the rules (a pre list of expectations/rules would’ve been appreciated) and could only assume the no shoe rule applied throughout the facility. Meanwhile, a mat sits in front of the practice area with 10 pairs of shoes and socks which every child/patron walks across to get into the practice area, and said shoes shoes/socks are worn into the bathroom. He was very rude to my son to the point he got upset and called him a mean man. We respect the discipline that they are trying to instill, which is why we wanted to try it. However, there’s an issue when you offer a tiny tots class and you get mad when they are tiny tots. They should not offer young kids classes if this is the way they are going to treat children. I would be willing to take my son to any class as long it was just Paul involved.
