If you are looking for a place to train or a place to get your kid started, there isn't a better option than Easton's. I've been around wrestling/martial arts my whole life and you won't find a more welcoming place than the family of Easton's.
Posted 6 months agoThe coaches have been great. They are really good about identifying kids that may need extra attention and match kids up to give growth and opertunity to everyone. Only down side is that there is very limited space for adults waiting on their kids.
Posted 7 months agoWe love it here. My 8 year old, energetic, love to grapple son, thrives here. It’s been such a great experience to help him channel his scrappy energy in a focused and positive way. The coaches are the most attentive I’ve encountered in a kids athletic environment. They are actually paying attention, are kind, but firm and focused on the needs of the individual children. They teach not only competitive Jui jitsu skills and self defense, but good life skills, like discipline, focus, respect, resilience. That said, Jui jitsu is not for everyone. I’ve seen kids cry and leave on their first day. This has little to do with the gym from my perspective. I think Jui jitsu just might not be for them, at the time.
Posted 1 year ago10/10! Easton Training Center is an amazing place to train, even for complete beginners like me. Coach Alex and the entire staff have been incredibly welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable, making every class a great learning experience. The atmosphere is supportive, and the instruction is top-notch, ensuring that even newcomers feel comfortable while still being challenged. I’ve only taken a few classes so far, but I can already tell this is a great place to train and improve. Highly recommend to anyone interested in Jiu-Jitsu!
Easton Jiu Jitsu Training Center is fantastic! Staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone, from the coaches to the students, creates a positive and supportive atmosphere that makes learning and training a great experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their skills in a fun and encouraging environment!
Easton is terrific. I enjoy everyone I train with and all the coaches are extremely great people. I have only been training for roughly a year and I remember when I first started how intimidated I was. The environment is healthily competitive but also very welcoming which made it very easy to keep coming back. I can't recommend this center enough!!
I’ve trained at a lot of different gyms, and of any, I would choose training here if I lived in the Longmont area. Phil and the instructors at Easton Longmont are incredible and you won’t regret it if you check them out. Excellent instruction, a great community, and top quality jiujitsu.
The coaches and community are amazing at Easton Longmont. They provide a safe, challenging, but fun environment for both kids and adults.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and the coaches are very driven without being overly aggressive. Everyone really wants to see you achieve your own goals. I'm one month in, go about two times a week (trying to do more here soon), and excited to keep it going.
I've only been here a week but the kickboxing classes are a blast. I really appreciate the coaching and the individual attention. It's a full body workout and I've left sweaty and feeling better about myself everytime. Would recommend 100%
Very friendly and welcoming. Not to mention great way to stay fit and healthy. Legit MMA gym.
My son has been training BJJ here for almost 3 weeks. We all love here so so so much. Kids here are polite and friendly and full of energy. Coaches and staffs here are super nice too. Kids train together and grow together. It is really like a big family
The coaches are amazing!! My son has grown so much in strength , skill and confidence since being coached here . We love this place !
Great atmosphere, everyone is super nice. Really engaging coaches, would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in BJJ.
Best jiu jitsu gym experience out there! Amazing people who truly care about the core values that make a good human and great martial artist!
I have been at Easton Longmont for 2 1/2 years now and since day one, it has been like a 2nd family for me and my family. The students, the staff and the coaches are so, so friendly and have helped me with so much. I am doing Jiu jitsu and kickboxing and from both I have learned not just the sport itself but so much about discipline and respect in so many ways.I recommend it 10,000%!!! - Bubbles
Easton Training Center - Longmont Is an amazing academy with a great, supportive & welcoming community. My son started doing Jiu-jitsu, then Muay Thai and he enjoyed it so much that he started doing it for 4 days a week!! After a couple months, I tried kickboxing and LOVED it! I continued and got promoted to Muay Thai and it's been an amazing journey!.I tried Jiu-jitsu and immediately love it!! All coaches & staff are very professional, fun & skilled .
Easton Longmont is an amazing community and I'm so grateful for my family to be a part of it. My wife and I are in the adult program and 2 kids - 10 & 7 are in the Tiger's program. We couldn't be happier with both programs and the entire staff. The environment is always positive, respectful and values the health and safety of its members. Our family always recommends Easton Longmont to our friends and family.
5 stars doesn’t even do justice to describe the vibes and the truly accepting and welcoming sense of community here while also being a place that really challenges you physically. It’s life changing. boosted my confidence by 3000%. Cure for depression achievement unlocked.
My husband takes kickboxing classes here and honestly loves it. He will hopefully be doing muay thai soon. I do not take classes but personally think it's a great opportunity for anyone, kids or adults. Great way to learn your strength. I think kids should do things like these. They have goals and they work hard to reach them.
I'd heard a lot about how Easton is the best gym in the metro-Denver area which is why I came initially but that description hardly does this place justice. Yes, the quality of instruction is superb. Yes, the way the training program is laid out is smart. But the real thing that makes this gym special is the community. What an incredible group of people to train with. Not only is everyone friendly and supportive but the whole gym radiates happy vibes. Its a good feeling being welcomed by name every time you enter the doors. If you're looking for a place to do martial arts or are thinking about trying it out.. DO IT! You won't regret it.
Awesome place. Son took a two month break and on his first day back he was dressed down in his gi waiting outside for me to pick him up because he wanted to go back so badly. Coach Jen is excellent, as is everyone who teaches there.
I had never heard of jujitsu until my son's friend invited him to a class. Since then, I have recommend Easton's children's program to several of my own students who struggle with impulse control, sensory processing and keeping their hands to themselves. I love the way Easton's program is highly structured and teaches self-discipline to help kids learn, get better, and have fun. The instructors are skilled in teaching children (of all ages) and I most appreciate the emphasis of being a good partner and helping. That’s something that sets Easton's program apart from other youth sports.
Everyone at Easton is always so welcoming and encouraging. Such a fun atmosphere
We ❤️ the coaches & trainers at Easton. Impressed from day one.
Easton Longmont is amazing! Their kids’ classes are lead by incredibly caring, capable coaches who get to know each child to personalize his/her needs during training. The community, as a whole, is a tight, welcoming community!
Easton Longmont has become our second family and home. Our son Lutreo started training jiujitsu with the little tigers when he was 6 years old, and now, two and a half years later we all train. We are so grateful for the connections and friendships in the community that we have made, but most importantly the coaches are amazing! So skilled, thoughtful, kind, and killers. This journey is different for every person that walks through the door, but we are all on a journey, and the coaches and staff recognize that and see each student as an individual, and that we each need support, guidance and sometimes just some struggle snuggles. We have brought many of our friends and family through the door at Easton Longmont and many of them signed up right away and continue to train today. The skill level of teaching is high, the staff is so friendly and kind, and the community is beyond words
From the coaches to us students, the prevailing mission at Easton Longmont is to improve as a collective. Coaches and staff are kind and encouraging, and that gets reflected in the student community when experienced students stop what they're doing to help out newer students. I'm active member of the E-L community now, but I wouldn't have embraced Muay Thai the way I have if it wasn't for the inclusive and collaborative culture that's cultivated at Easton Longmont.
Starting coming to this gym 2 months ago when I first moved here to get my life started in a positive direction. Coach Jordan and everyone else at this academy welcomed me with open arms which I am truly thankful. Regardless of the family like embrace you get from training here you also learn from people who are passionate about helping you along in your Bjj journey as well as life. If you’re looking to become a humble badass, this is the place for you!
Awesome people! Super relaxed while structured, definitely a great environment and a good way to get some movement in!
The staff and instructors have welcomed us like family from day one. The training is second to none. Such a welcoming and warm place to learn BJJ. The Little Tigers class has done wonders for our child’s confidence and discipline!
Love our BJJ journey and our Easton Longmont Family. Inspirational training whether you’re taking a class or just watching a loved one. We participate in child, adult and family classes. Coach Jen, and ALL the coaches are so professional with littles to 92! So glad we found a home here.

Wonderful intro by a young lady whose name I did not get. The instructor (again no name) seemed very knowledgeable and personable. I am looking forward to a great experience!
The entire team at Easton is top notch! The instruction is detailed and taught by people who truly have the heart of a teacher. The atmosphere is welcoming and really emphasizes positive energy through training, discipline and personal accountability. They have a culture of excellence and fun. I attend classes as many times a week as possible. Easton Training Center gets my highest recommendation!!!
I signed myself and my son up for classes a few month's ago. It has been such a positive experience for our entire family. The staff at Easton is so kind and helpful and the philosophy is built around personal goals and mutual respect for all levels.
Easton is an amazing gym! Great programs for both Jiu Jitsu as well as Muay Thai/kickboxing for kids and adults! Easton is more than just a gym that you come to train at for a hobby the community is definitely a family which is what I think makes Easton so special personally. My first day I was welcomed in with open arms and met with a big smile and that’s definitely what made me stay at Easton. I would recommend this academy to everyone and anyone who’s interested in learning BJJ or Muay Thai weather your brand new or have been doing it for years.
Incredible coaches with an immense wealth of knowledge and an ability to coach martial artists of any skill level. True pioneers of the Colorado JiuJitsu scene.
I love being a member of Easton and part of this community. The gym is clean and classes are on time. The employees and coaches are friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to push themselves and bend their brain in a way that is unique.
This is probably the best place I’ve ever been I look the community and all the coaches and professors that train there
Easton has been a standard bearer for BJJ. High quality coaches. Great for kids too.
Easton is the best jiu jitsu academy in Colorado. Great coaches and even better community. Membership immediately links you to a larger network of academies for the best martial arts experience money can buy.
I wish I can give them 10 stars if it was possible. Once you come and train at Easton you won’t regret it, Coach Alex makes the class fun but it’s also very intense. Definitely worth the pay. What I like the most about Easton is the staff, they’re all very nice and welcoming. I plan to stay at Easton as long as I can. If you’re looking for a place to train choose Easton, you won’t regret it.
I've been a member at Easton Longmont for the past few months and have taken roughly 70 classes during that time. I can say with ease that this is one of the best training communities that I have been part of. The staff and instructors are exceptionally helpful, friendly, and kind. It is obvious that they care about the wellbeing of the entire community and that they strive towards an ego-less environment. The depth of knowledge that each coach brings to classes is inspiring and I am continually impressed by their dedication to the martial arts. I can tell I will be a member for a long time to come.
Been going here about a month now and love it. For reference I am adult and beginner at both bjj and kickboxing. Very welcoming environment. Learn a ton in classes and they definitely push you phsycially but never felt unwelcome pressure. I was coming back from knee injury and instructors were very helpful to help me work around it. Plenty of classes offered and class sizes have been just right. Highly recommend.
The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff create an environment that is friendly, supportive, encouraging, and fun. This environment is also radiated by the students. The Muay Thai program is great for physical and mental exercise. The facility is kept very clean. I wish I would have joined the Easton community sooner!
I just signed my son up last week and I’m already a huge fan! I love everything about the the Tigers class and the coaches. I love the values they teach along with the techniques. I greatly appreciate the expectation they put on the students to be accountable for there actions and be good partners to their peers. They really balance learning the techniques with drills and using them in training rounds. I’m so impressed and I really have high hopes for how this will impact my son. This could be a game changer for him in many ways.
Great coaches and a great experience for my son!
For me, having never participated in a martial art before, they (staff and fellow classmates) go out of their way to cater to my needs and get me up to speed and to goals I never thought achievable at my own pace. I am not overshadowed by more experienced members, everyone pushes each other to get closer to any of their individual goals they may have and everyone feeds of each other's presence.
Great community, everyone is super friendly and the coaches are knowledgeable and super welcoming. Oh and Parker at the front desk is fantastic, legitimately truly, great guy.
I highly recommend joining this gym (training center). The best thing about Easton Longmont is the community of people within it. Everyone is there to learn and get better everyday, and we all help each other achieve that. The coaches are all really nice and awesome at what they do! I just started bjj a couple months ago and it already feels like a family to me!
The atmosphere is one that always brings me back in the door excited to train. The highest quality instruction with the friendliest attitudes.
The people of Easton are like a second family to me and my daughter. We both train at the Longmont location and it has changed our lives. The sense of community at Easton is great, and the training is top notch. The facility is always very clean. We plan to stay at Easton.
Easton Longmont is the most customer-service driven gym in the Boulder-Longmont area. Management (Jordan Shipman) has obviously set the required tone of professionalism and friendliness of the staff because every time a member or guest walks in the door, regardless of how busy the facility is, the customer service team (Parker and Inez) either meet members/guests at the door with a big "hello" and a smile (they're wearing COVID masks, but their eyes are smiling), or if they are tied up at the desk, they'll wave and shout "hello" from there. Jordan, Parker, and Inez make it a priority to learn every person's name and details of their fitness goals. I only took kickboxing classes at Easton, but they were exceptional. I've taken boxing/kickboxing classes all around the United States when traveling, and the Easton Longmont instructors are some of the most knowledgeable, encouraging, and fun. The classes are high-energy, and if you are new, please do not be intimated. The instructors will spend time with you before and during class to show you the moves and ensure your safety. I highly recommend taking one-on-one lessons with Ross Hansen to improve your technique, get in a killer workout, and laugh a lot (he has a fabulous sense of humor). Ross has a unique background in martial arts and yoga practice and instruction, so his approach to teaching is very holistic. Ross also takes his role as an instructor very seriously and spends personal time researching how best to mentor and serve his students. If you don't wish to take group classes for whatever reason, you can still work with Hansen one-on-one during off-hours when the gym is quiet. The private lessons are very affordable and worth every cent. Easton Longmont has strict COVID protocols in place that they enforce for everyone's safety, and the members/guests are respectful of these protocols. Give Easton Longmont a try. You won't be disappointed!
Outstanding teachers, great facility, and taking a very serious approach to training in the age of COVID.
As soon as I started going, I improved my kickboxing and endurance. The community is amazing. Everytime we start hitting the bag, the instructors always are making sure your form is on point and see what you need to improve.
This is a great place. Very clean and well taken care of. Everyone is super nice. The workouts are very intense but the trainers work with you to help push you to your personal limits, so the classes are very enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, friendly, and clean gym/training center to join.
THE BEST. This team crushes is everyday. I've only heard good things about them from my friends who train here regularly, so when I decided it was time to get into a gym, this was my first choice. It had been a few years since I've trained Muay Thai + BJJ but the first time I came in, I instantly felt part of the family and felt absolutely no judgement from anyone regardless of how sloppy I'm sure I looked. The instruction is top-notch from some of the best fighters I've ever seen in person, and they really make an effort to help every person improve in some way each session. Compared to other gyms I've been in, I feel like the value is the best here than anywhere else in the area, and certainly not the most expensive, either. Anyway, you have to check this place out, you won't regret it.
Great family environment, wonderful place to gain confidence and knowledge of the wonderful art of Jiu-Jitsu. Great for any experience level.
This is an awesome academy to train at. I've been training in Virginia and Colorado over the last 7 years and the Longmont location is easily one of the most well kept facilities I've been in. Everyone is very kind and welcoming, I can definitely feel a family vibe from everyone I've met so far. I've been really satisfied with what I've experienced so far.
It's a pretty cool atmosphere! Pretty kid friendly, which I would normally wouldn't be excited about, but I've avoided bjj for years because I thought it was a bit too "meathead", but everyone is very nice and welcoming. They also have a well established curriculum for beginners, instead of just tossing you into 10 minutes of instruction with 50 minutes of open mat.
Friendly, professional staff who provide a complete range of knowledge and skills. Clean facility that values the health and safety of its members. Overall a great experience, would recommend 10/10!
If you are reading this review, I imagine you have some interest in joining Easton Training Center (Longmont)-- YOU SHOULD! Walking in for the very first time I was warmly greeted by the staff and coaches. I signed up for the BJJ classes, and have not looked back since. Fundamentals class is challenging and very well coached. As a complete beginner, I was worried it would be too much, too quick, but the instruction is specific and easy to understand. Really! You should join... find me (in the white belt ;-) and we'll grab a drink after class!
This gym is my home away from home. A great staff, a clean environment to train in, and an awesome family atmosphere make this place a dream. Whether you're looking for classes for kids, kickboxing, Muay Thai, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu this is THE place to train in Longmont.
Love Easton! The academy and instruction are great in Longmont. I train there, as do my kids who are learning skills that will be with them for life, regardless of where their martial arts journey goes in the future. It's changed my life much for the better as well over the past couple years.
I appreciate the clean, and safe environment that Easton provides.
Great environment. Family oriented, knowledgeable instructors, and an all-around positive atmosphere! My family has been a part of easton for years
Facility is small but it is efficient and classes are great. The issue? Even after I canceled my family membership, they keep trying to charge me for kids and adult membership.
