Best gym in Austin! I’ve trained martial arts on and off for a few years, and after trying out the Parlor, I don’t ever want to change gyms. The community here is incredible—an amazing team of BJJ athletes that made me want to focus on jiu-jitsu exclusively. I used to do heavy power and I even replaced my regular weightlifting gym since the Parlor has everything I need for strength training too. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, offering expertise across multiple martial arts, plus physical therapy and strength coaching. The sauna, showers, and AC are just the icing on the cake.

This is one of the best gyms in Austin if not the world. I’ve been a martial artist in Austin for over a dozen years and have trained across the broader martial arts community as well. I met a couple of the owners around town back when they were just dreaming this place up, and it’s no surprise it’s become such a standout hub of the martial arts community and just a straight-up great place to be. The Olympic lifting setup is superb, the location can’t be beat, and the jiu-jitsu instruction is of the highest level. The Olympic lifting training and classes are just as high quality. So many of my closest friends started training here that I finally had to stop by and then I signed up immediately. The atmosphere is excellent, and I highly recommend experiencing it for yourself. 5 out of 5 stars.

The gym has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Stacey leads the strength and conditioning classes with clear guidance and a positive attitude. She was friendly and welcoming on my first day, which made everything easier. Coach Tony runs solid BJJ classes with good structure and support. Training here feels motivating and steady. I am glad I joined 🙏🏻

I've been training at the gym for two months now. The coaches are very professional and well-spoken. The management seems exceptional, and there's a great, healthy atmosphere among the trainees as well. I've trained at martial arts gyms around the world, and this place is definitely top-tier in terms of quality. One very important thing is that the facility has showers, sauna and a weight gym on the bottom floor, and the staff makes sure to clean the mats after every session, theres a lot of space which makes the place very convenient for rolling. The price is very reasonable considering what you actually get — I'm very satisfied.

I met Vince, Bill, and John when I was training over at B Team and when they told me they were opening a gym together on the east side of Austin I was all in. I already knew Vince was an incredible coach with a ton of knowledge and experience in the sport, and it has been awesome getting to know Bill and John better as well since East Austin Jiu Jitsu Parlor opened. I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know the other owners Zane and Sean over the past year. This gym is an incredible facility with the best mat space I’ve ever trained on along with an awesome weight room and even a steam room. What really makes this gym special though is the people. The Jiu Jitsu coaching from Vince, Bill, John and Zane is top tier and Sean is the best physical therapist and strength coach I’ve ever worked with. Together they have created a community around this gym that is welcoming, friendly, and truly full of people who want to see each other become better at whatever it is they are trying to achieve. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who lives in Austin or is just visiting and wants to train Jiu Jitsu or just get a lift in. Truly special place and people!
