My kids have come here to learn jiu jitsu fundamentals for about 8 years. Professor Ian is a good person and great with kids of all ages. He creates a supportive, encouraging environment and is a wonderful teacher. Other jiu jitsu gyms have a high turnover of students, but at Ease jiu jitsu, there are several families that have been here for many years and don’t want to leave!

My son has been training w Professor Ian for about 2 years now. He’s a great teacher, he’s knowledgeable and very patient w the kids. I’ve seen my son’s confidence grow over the years and he looks forward to coming to class. Professor Ian is great. Makes the class fun and teaches kids how to defend themselves at an early age. I’m very happy my son Kyle is coming here.

Awesome bjj spot for all skill levels and the culture is what makes this place standout. I came to one of the classes with a close friend who convinced me to check it out. I was hesitant to come because I was moving in about two months, but after the first class I decided I wanted to join. I wasn't expecting to join since I was moving so soon and the I knew joining wouldn't be worth the hassle. However after speaking with coach Ian about my situation we were able to figure something out and I joined that same day. The environment and coaching style is what convinced me join that very day. I knew I would make the best of those two months there. I recently visited during the holidays to roll in open mat and the environment was great like usual. Will definitely come and roll in open mat whenever I'm back in town.

I left one local Jiu jitsu gym to come here and could not be happier with that decision. professor Ian provides a chill and fun atmosphere that is conducive to learning. The class schedule has morning, evening and open mat with convenient times. I pay a fair price for myself and three kids (I’ve checked with local gyms as price point is important to me). My kids have more fun here than they did at our previous gym which is great for longevity of their interest in Jiu jitsu.

My daughter and I have been training with Professor Ian and the Team here for about 6 months now. It is a great environment for both kids and adults. Professor Ian is super knowledgeable, patient, and fun to be around. I recommend CJJF Anaheim to anyone looking to learn BJJ. Come join the Team!
