  I cannot recommend Triccs BJJ highly enough. Whether you're looking to get fitter, happier or even if it’s to just try something new. The training quality here is exceptional, thanks to the dedication and decades of knowledge between Pat, Bob, Otis, Sam & others. Each bring a wealth of knowledge and a unique teaching style, ensuring that every session is both challenging and rewarding. What truly sets this club apart is its family-like community. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by both trainers and fellow members. Finding a club like this is incredibly difficult, and I consider myself lucky to be a part of such a great crew.   My daughter has been coming to the Saturday class for over a year now, she was 5 when she started and it's been incredible for developing her confidence and self belief. Patrick is an amazing leader and teacher that captivates the attention of the kids of all ages. He's kind, funny but also so dedicated and teaches the kids how important it is to show up, try your best, have fun and most importantly respect yourself and others. I can't recommend this place enough. Thanks Patrick!

  My son who is 8 years old started with Triccs Academy over a year ago. The instructor Patrick James is fantastic even though technique is at the forefront of the journey, he also tries ensure that the kids have fun when learning. This has made my son love and look forward to every lesson. Since starting he has gained confidence fitness and a new found display making new friends in the process. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who would like to learn or continue their BJJ journey to check out Triccs Academy.

  I've trained here for over a year. There is a high level of coaching between Pat, Ollie and Joe. Both Pat and Ollie won silver at the world's in 2018. Pat does an excellent job of creating a fun and supportive team atmosphere, no egos just good training. Really welcoming of beginners.

  I've been with TRICCS since the beginning of 2019. I have enjoyed every single lesson. Joe, Ollie and Pat are excellent coaches, passionate and engaged, bringing their own style and personality to the lessons. The members are great too. Everyone is supportive and people look after each other. I have always felt very safe when training here which is very important.
