Five Star BJJ & Grappling located in Savannah Georgia. We offer both adults and children's classes in wrestling and jiujitsu. We teach basic, fundamental, advanced jiujitsu, wrestling, which includes both traditional Gi and NOGI.

I have been dropping in for their Friday night No-Gi classes when I’m in town for National Guard. This is an awesome place that gets a lot of good wrestlers. Coach Kyle puts on a good class with a combination of takedowns and ground game. Everyone has been friendly and considerate of their training partners and give a lot of helpful instruction to a serial visitor. Facility has a good size mat and is extremely clean! Thanks for letting me train!

Visiting from Charlotte and was looking to get some morning rolls in. Solid gym, clean, and great vibes. Stopped in for the Sat. open mat and coach Harry was very helpful.
I had never trained BJJ before coming to Devine Jiu Jitsu and meeting Professor Harry. I was nervous to start. 1.5 years later and I love it. I have learned so much from Harry. My training partners have been welcoming from the start and everyone helps each other improve. Truly a family environment.

I've been to a lot of bjj schools and this one measures up. It's not one of the huge power plants in So Cal but somehow they have 15, 25, 35 adults on any given night. Quality instruction, welcoming and friendly regulars, and good tournament coaching here. Women, kid, and wrestling classes, so basically something for everyone.

I wanted to take some time about reviewing this place. Amazing if I had to describe it in one word. My family, and I visited from out of town, and were thinking of moving to the area. My son has wrestled for a couple of years, and we were interested to see if there was anywhere he could go if we moved. This place took us in with open arms. Excellent training. Respectful kids. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I was in town on vacation and decided to visit Devine Jiu Jitsu for an open mat. The instructor and the students were very welcoming! I had a great time! I highly recommend visiting or joining Devine Jiu Jitsu if you are in the Savannah area.
I traveled from florida for a family vacation. Looked for a place to come train and this gym feels like home. Super friendly and clean environment everyone is careful and respectful obviously an environment fostered by great coaching. Oss

I always bring a piece of paper to a wrestling match, just in case... The Rock is my opponent. I never want to have to take my daughter anywhere else for Wrestling/martial arts. Family owned and ran business and they are great people. Great customer service, quick response times and the coach is soooo knowledgeable. I bet he could come with a new move everyday of the week. What I want to know is how did they end up with nice students too? This is not Cobra Kai, the other students/attendees actually try to help new kids and people that know less technique than them to be better. If I have to move away to a new place to live I will need some of you to help me beat up the owner/coach and put him in my trunk to take with me. DONT JUDGE ME, just help me take him with me and just add that to your resume. Awesome school and I love bringing my daughter here.
Great place to train! Harry, Raquel, and their kids make the place a very welcoming environment and fun place to learn Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling. Harry is a phenomenal instructor, who is very precise with his teaching, and also has a great sense of humor. He makes learning the sport fun and entertaining. The family and the students also compete on a regular basis and they have a strong bond and team spirit. Highly recommend trying it once if you're a beginner or making a visit and you'll see why this academy is one of a kind!

I've been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 12 years and I can tell you Jiu Jitsu is not for everyone, but Harry West is accomodating, welcoming, technically gifted, and provides a safe training environment. His gym has exemplary sanitation practices and is a family friendly space. I would highly recommend training here. Lessons varry in focus, depending on the day of the week, between wrestling, Jiu Jitsu, and submission grappling. Check out his website for schedule details. Technical ability on your feet and the ground is accepted and fostered.
This is a great place to learn Jiu jitsu. It’s a clean family atmosphere where students and the coaches help build each other up. Harry’s experience in wrestling and Jiu jitsu offers students a huge opportunity to grow and improve in many different areas. The kids program is solid and teaches students to train and compete with respect and integrity. Highly recommend checking them out and seeing first hand.

Wonderful school and world class instructor. Couldn’t see training anywhere else. Coach Harry‘S style of teaching works well with both kids and adults. He can take the most complex techniques and break them into simple steps that anyone can understand. I’m very impressed with the level of instruction and family atmosphere Devine Jiu Jitsu Savannah offers.
This place is home away from home for my boys!! Coach Harry is amazing and always has the lead! I am never fearful my kids will get unintenionally injured because he is always Johnny on the Spot! He is knowledgeable both on and off the mats! He has taken time out to lead, guide and eduate the boys on an off the mats. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Excellent Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling school. I love the people here, they’re very respectful and friendly to all. The lessons are detailed explained and followed trough by the professional instructors. Veteran owned and run school that’s open to all ages, also they’re In a new and bigger location, highly recommended.
My daughter started here when she was in kindergarten. At the time she was one of the youngest but the kids all embraced her and pulled her in as part of their family. Quickly many other younger kids joined. We could see the word of mouth of the gym attracting more kids. I couldn't be more ecstatic. The ideology of the program for the children is spot on! Not only are they coached by the adults but they are being coached by the older kids who volunteer to come in and coach the young children in basic fundamentals as they are learning them. My daughter is now in second grade and 7 years old and is continously excited to get to class. Both my wife and myself our elementary school teachers and understand what it is like to work with children all day long. Mr. West does a tremendous job with these children. Honestly, in the beginning, I was very hesitant about the sport but once I saw how Fivestar Brazilian approached it I had no worries. Check it out for yourself. They have always been so kind to let kids try it out to see if they like it before they sign up.

Great place to train and learn a wonderful Art and very competitive sport. People are awesome and very inviting. Recommend to anyone. All ages are welcome which is cool not many places around that give the same treatment to the whole family.
We went a few times to try it out. My son was very much a beginner but was expected to do some difficult moves. He gave his best effort but was met with a very impatient and visibly annoyed coach. We moved him to a different gym and had a much better experience with kind, organized, patient, and loving coaches. Now my son loves Jiu Jitsu. 2 stars for the free trial.
Really disappointed with this club! Honestly I never been in a place where the couch Herrelson West is so unprofessional and disrespectful.. if you love your kids don't take them here! Worst jujitsu club in Savannah!
