  I first started bjj in Austin, Texas in 2020. Even though I was receiving instruction from quality individuals, I always felt like a stranger on the mats. Additionally I was learning techniques without truly being conscious of what I was doing. It just felt like a cash grab. It wasn’t until I came to Gallo Prieto here in Laredo, Texas where the word family took on a whole new meaning. I was immediately welcomed and I am glad to say that a lot of my bjj gains came from the deo jiu jitsu teachings. Edgardo is a quality instructor at a very fair price who genuinely cares about your progress. This dojo really brought my game to whole new level. No funny business, just hard work.

  Great place to train and learn brazilian jiu-jitsu, one of the direct black belts from deo jiu-jitsu from Brazil which comes from oswaldo Fadda.
