I've known Felipe Martinez for over 30 years and when I found out he opened a Jiujitsu school I was eager to enroll my husband and son in his class. I've sat through his class numerous times and enjoy watching him teach. His technics of teaching is out of this world, he is very informative and explains to the students the next moves and he cares about the safety and well-being of everyone. You can tell he has years of experience by the knowledge he represents when explaining. I am looking forward to joining his class once I am done with schooling and have more flexibility to attend his class on a regular base.
Posted 1 year agoThe classes are fun and are taught in a fun and detailed manner. Coach Felipe pays attention that you learn and execute the technique properly all while having fun and encouraging you to succeed. Did I mention the fun darkish humor? LOL my daughter has become more confident than she already was and the same goes for me, it's a family thing and the gym has that vibe.
Posted 1 year agoIt is a very friendly and family oriented place. the coaches are great with kids and adult classes. Felipe is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. the other members are fun and eager to learn amd teach us newbies.

Posted 1 year agoI love love this place! The instructors, Felipe and Edna, go above and beyond to help you improve your technique and get you to the next level. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming no matter the color of their belt. Truly a fun place to learn, make friends and get a great workout. If you’re looking to try something new, this is the place!
