  It was an amazing place to drop in. Lots of higher level ladies that offered such valuable training. The space was super clean and the staff was absolutely amazing.

  Training here has been an absolute pleasure. I am not from around here, but was in the area for 3 weeks for work. I emailed them about dropping in to train while I was in town and Chris was very timely and courteous with his response about having me. Though I'm not a regular, they have all been welcoming since I walked in the door. On top of the great atmosphere, the instructors and lessons have all been top-notch; every class I went to, I was able to learn and utilize something new. Simply put, this place is the epitome of the best side of the BJJ community.

  Great School I definitely recommend this to anyone that’s looking foreword to competing in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA or even if you just want a good workout this place definitely make you feel like you’re part of a family. They have patience and work with you this Deep Water BJJ definitely is a second home for me unlike a lot of other schools they give you 30 days free trail you can’t beat that ! if you’re looking for a great school this is the place.

  They require year long contracts which they threaten to enforce legally, regardless of your reasons for being unable to continue attending (except for serious injury or moving a certain number of miles away). You can pay for classes up front or monthly but they do require you to sign a YEAR long contract. This is the only school in the area that I'm aware of that requires year long contracts to attend. The classes are significantly more expensive than any other BJJ / MMA gym in the area. Most of the classes I attended were overcrowded, leading to a generally uncomfortable learning experience. There are MMA / BJJ gyms in Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Elizabethtown that provide significantly better value and don't require year long contracts to attend.

  This is a genuinely great martial arts gym. The staff and management are cool people and well trained, the school is well led, and it offers a good environment for students and members at every level. I trained with Scott, Cam, and Darnell over a decade ago and drop into their school every time I'm back in Harrisburg, and I'm really impressed with what they've built and how they operate it. Staying united and focused on an endeavor for that long isn't easy. There's no ego here, just a welcoming environment and good training.
