I was injured training here as a beginner. I wrote an email just to let dave know and he responded very defensively and passive aggressively, he assumed i was legally threatening him due to his lacking communication and literary skills. In reality i was just frustrated with my experience and trying to communicate that to him without conflict. I just stopped going after this interaction because i didnt feel comfortable and felt very disappointed as I was excited about the sport. After training somewhere else for some time i realize how abnormal my experience was here. Im sure others have conflicting experiences but in my opinion this is not a welcoming place for everyone or a good place to learn muay thai as a fresh beginner.
Posted 1 year agoJoining Muay Thai at Dave's Gym has been a very positive experience for me. It offers a great workout, teaches a fun sport and self-defense, and benefits from Dave's stellar teaching and the assistance of very capable coaches and students. I've definitely noticed personal improvement over the past months and I hope Dave will be teaching for years to come.
Posted 2 years agoI've trained at other gyms but this by far is the best one. Coach Dave and his staff are very meticulous and care about you learning proper Muay Thai. The other senior fighters at the gym help the newer members to get better. My technique has improved a lot since joining this gym. Coach Dave is awesome with children as well. Both my kids are enrolled and they absolutely love the atmosphere and the training. All of us home to stay here for many years to come. I recommend this gym to everyone.
Posted 6 years agoThe owner of the hall does not know how to deal with customers and it seems to me that he has behavioral problems. My advice to him is to see a specialist to correct his mentality.
Posted 1 year agoNak Muay Gym is a great gym no matter your age or level of experience. Coach Dave will work with you whatever level you are at and will build you up. Nak Muay Gym is a very clean and positive environment. Coach Dave is very kind and humble. He is truly an inspiration to his students. He has extensive experience in Muay Thai and has fought many fights. This is definately the place to go if you want to make Muay Thai/kickboxing part of your life, meet new people and make friends who share your passion. Thank you Coach Dave for your continued dedication to your students.
