  An awesome environment for anyone wanting to learn grappling looking a aspects of Judy, BJJ and orherstyles. A friendly and high standard bunch of guys who have between them competed and meddled internationally. A good starting place for anyone looking to get into MMA and a must see for any competing fighters.

  Kids training is run very well by high level coach, Craig Ewers. The environment is very welcoming and really glad I took my son after being highly recommended by other parents who's kids also attend.

  Authentic, Professional, and Top-Level Coaching Both my sons train judo at Craig Ewers Academy, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The coaching is high-level across judo, BJJ (gi and no gi), and grappling. It’s a proper gym – professional, focused, and grounded in old-school values like discipline, respect, and hard work. There’s no ego, just great training and a strong community. My boys love it, and the progress they’ve made speaks for itself. It’s not flashy – it’s authentic. The mats are full of focus, effort, and a strong sense of community. My boys loves training here, and I can honestly say it’s made a positive impact on their confidence, resilience, and love for the sport. Highly recommended.

  My son has been attending this MMA gym for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about each student’s progress and development. The environment is supportive and welcoming, making it a great place to build confidence, discipline, and fitness. My son looks forward to every class and has grown so much since joining. Highly recommend this gym.

  Visiting Cardiff for work. Didn’t have the opportunity to attend the class in the end but when I emailed Craig to ask if drop-ins were welcome, he responded promptly with class options and an invitation to come on down.

  amazing place to train for guys, girls and kids, top level coaches in mma and jiu jitsu, as well as judo and Muay thai which i haven't had chance to try out yet. many of the guys have gone on to fight in professional promotions but day to day its a very friendly atmosphere and a focus on the actual sport itself. Would love to see more interclub as its a great chance of newer guys like me to get competing, easy 10 out of 10

  I've been going to Craig's since before COVID. Craig doesn't put pressure on anyone to go at a pace where they're not comfortable. I couldn't do a forward or backward roll when I joined, I'm now a purple belt. He's knowledgeable, really down to earth and fair. There's no weird cult type sessions, no hidden costs, what you see is what you get. Good vibes. Would recommend to anyone. You'll make friends for life, can be absolutely yourself and have a laugh while you train. Wish I found this place years ago!

  Totally enjoyed the Muay Thai classes from Aurimas Kumza every Wednesday at 5pm 🙌🏼 super!!! Such a uplifting, great cardio, legs and arms work out! AMAZING 💪🏻😍🤙🏼
